I've only seen bits and pieces of the series as a result of other friends showing me, and I mean this in the best way possible, the mecha shit is the least interesting aspect of the show. I think they only have that in there to keep people engaged and because it looks cool.

Other than the mech stuff I think all the technology in there looks very interesting, they sorta have a cassette-futurism look that I really enjoy
