I’m only aware of lncelcore/e-punk because of a student in my computer-lab class nearly a year ago who showed off his SoundCloud band with his ’grinch lair buddies to me and a few others sat nearby. The others were dismissive yet I perked an ear and listened to a demo through his cracked Samsung speakers. After that we slowly became joined at the hip for every school trip where traveling in groups was mandatory. There was a shared “Yeah, that guy didn’t tell me to fuck off upon contact last time, so I’ll reluctantly stick to him,” and due to his he had pieced together my character beyond what I could ever share physically by years end. The ’nic shite, the fursnowmanry--solely from observation and my verbal droppings. To all of this he returned a mere passing chuckle as payment for my mumbled, teeth-clenching confirmations to his queries. He himself, had a fondness for The Animaniacs and as aforementioned e-punk. So neither of us really had any ground over the other hahaha.
On that point, I suppose the same could be said about “piecing together” details in reverse. He was quite deep into lncelcore community, to the point of residing in a ’grinch lair server that reportedly housed Solomon for a period before its eventual shutdown--who we both mocked and discussed on a trip up a local trail. He wasn’t directly in the ’sphere from what I could gather, nor was he in any krampus circles. Merely another antisocial, terminally-online mick weirdo haha. The only individual in recent memory that I could call an actual acquaintance. Despite the appearance, there was an unspoken and shared disgust toward contact outside of that year’s school trips and to be frank, I’m glad. I’m not one for all that and neither was he. I’m not one to care for others upkeep, but I hope he’s holding.
