You mean the exif data contains the cropped parts of the screenshot? It’s as easy as clicking “do not show location” when uploading pictures.
If you want to be extra secure, you take a picture in real life, then screenshot it so EXIF data only shows the basics, then crop it.
If you do the second thing, the only EXIF data is going to be able to pull up that might be revealing is the full uncropped screenshot, so make sure when you screenshot your time or service provider doesn’t show up.
Minuteman minus the Femboy ArcHe looks like an emo version of minuteman.
all you really need to do is upload it on any major social media app and download from it (i.e. instagram), since they remove most exif data.https://f-droid.org/en/packages/com.jarsilio.android.scrambledeggsif/
I run every picture through this app before sending it
Kind of, if you were to download a photo taken in real life, with all of the EXIF data intact, (which is getting increasingly harder and rarer nowadays) and the photo came from an Apple device and you downloaded it to your Apple device, you’re able to edit the photo back to its original state using the simple photo editor Apple provides you since I’m pretty sure the device thinks that you took the photo. You mean the exif data contains the cropped parts of the screenshot?
That's gigawhen i was a kid i had a youtube channel that my dad made me delete because i posted a video inviting people to come to my house with my location so we could play games together
There's a misconception on this, and the reason why unediting is possible in apple products is because apple loves datamining, so it saves the original copy in the cloud for you and your devices, so each time you want to remove all the editing you've done to your stuff, be it images or videos, apple will give you a "save" from it's cloud service. Now if apple let's every itoddler edit back every and each photo in existence with no care about who's the original owner of it just because, then we're dealing with a massive issue.Kind of, if you were to download a photo taken in real life, with all of the EXIF data intact, (which is getting increasingly harder and rarer nowadays) and the photo came from an Apple device and you downloaded it to your Apple device, you’re able to edit the photo back to its original state using the simple photo editor Apple provides you since I’m pretty sure the device thinks that you took the photo.
