Joseph married Mary to protect her from the shame of bearing Jesus out of wedlock. It is likely that a Roman soldier named Panthera raped her during the Roman sacking of Sepphoris after Judas Bar Hezekiah led an insurrection there.
False story made up by Jews
Origen already refuted this
The same story even exists in the Jewish Talmud

Celsus was a critic of Judaism.
Most Biblical scholars reject that story in the Talmud was even talking about Jesus.
If the story was so true, you wouldn't be relying on a 2nd century polemical text
When Celsus mentions the story that Jesus’ father was a Roman soldier named Panthera, he explicitly says he is reporting what “the Jews say”
So he's not presenting independent Roman records, he's not claiming firsthand evidence, he's relaying an argument used by Jewish critics of Christianity
Even if Celsus criticizes Judaism elsewhere, he's still presenting a polemical counter-claim used by Jewish opponents of Christiantiy
His work "The True Word" only survives because Origen quoted it and responded to it in his own work "Against Celsus" (248 AD)
This makes the Panthers claim late (2nd century), hostile in origin, and secondhand even in its earliest surviving form

Ancient Greek philosophers paved the way for Christ

pretty sure this guy was a turk who was martyred by the ottomans for his faith
He was baptized and lived as a secret Christian in the ottoman empire. He became a martyr after saying that "The greatest of all things is the Christian faith" infront of ottoman officials. So they executed him in Istanbul cause he wouldnt renounce his faith
