I'm gonna be real with you. I've had two of them throught my life and they are very dangerous dogs, but most of the stigma come from the fact that they're owned overwhelmingly by noobs and entitled single mom mud sharks who get them as a replacement for a husband figure precisely because they're dangerous animals. It seriously is a matter of the owner in the same way guns shouldn't be banned because noobs overwhelmingly use them to murder other noobs. You gotta understand the fact that they're dangerous if they're violent and understand how an animal reacts to danger. I do really think not everyone should be allowed to own them.

I owned a rescue a few years back and one time she grabbed ahold of my sleeve and spent about a minute pulling me in circles. I'm not small, but I genuinely couldn't do anything to stop it.
She was really sweet, and was obviously just playing, but God damn, she was sreal womang. If she had been some evil noobised hell hound, I couldn't have hoped to stop her from mauling me to death.
