There is an easy way for anyone to draw gems there. You don't need to install any outside software, you don't need to bot, you just need a desire to gem the planet up.

First you have to go to setting and create a template

Choose the image, the coordinates and the name. Save it.

Make sure the templates are enabled.


Next you want to change your pencil type.



Now you should be able to hold "Shift" and hover over the template, the colors should change automatically and the pixels should get placed without you needing to click each and every one of them.
