Some people in China run businesses providing internet proxies (VPNs), which can only be found by bypassing the firewall, as they are almost impossible to search for within it. I started using a VPN before the COVID-19 pandemic, back when regulations weren’t as strict as they are now. I also use Tor to browse some content, though it’s not as interesting as I thought; most of the material can also be found on Telegram channels.
