LaVeys writings caught my eye. For curiosity sakes and thirst for getting all sides of an argument I’ve given the Satanic Bible a whirl. The following are notes I took from the many introductions, the pre-text and a fair chunk of the initial chapter. I haven’t gotten to the meat yet but I’ve wrote enough to feed you all the foundation though without the frankly humorous edginess in the actual text. Feel free to argue against it, I’m just writing what I have read thus-far.

Satan represents the unexplainable chaos of nature that dictates affairs that doesn’t follow dogma or science. Satanism is the application of that nature to man. Careless competition, survival, violence and selfishness exist in all jungles including urban, so by building a philosophy around the conditions of our environment and time we can fully indulge ourselves in self-preservation, individual freedom and happiness, and that in of itself should be held as the highest law. As once our indulgence ends and death comes knocking, we’re forced into a great abstinence, so make the most of it.

Of-course, this indulgence should be done reasonably without infringing upon others individual preferences, so we can all enjoy them without self-deceit, wasted love on ingrates, humblebrag and dependence on overbearing Christian restraints and full self-denial. We are merely another animal, often worse than quadrupeds due to out spiritual and intellectual development, so act like it. We are predators who fight by instinct, and if full abstinence from violence were to come, humanity may potentially fall.

Satanism rejects preachings and arguments of divine nature, for they step in the way of questioning, and those safe-guards of divinity and its followers can and will eradicate personal liberty. Do not be afraid to question, for environments are ever-changing making no exact ideal concrete. Take nothing for granted in regards to religion for nothing is inherently sacred and liable to being destroyed if it does not show results, for truths are proven by them. Redeem yourself, hold yourself highly and be mighty and blunt in all you say and do. Do not merely “turn the other cheek”, hit the perpetrator back ten-fold so he’ll never do it again. It is a controlled selfishness where all of your actions are kept in place by pride. Think Humanism with dogma and practices.

actual satanists are the worst people in existence, athiest posers (this includes laveyans) are just edgelords but actual satanists suck because they have to reject all of Christian morality and/or become nihilistic, resulting in either terrorist groups like the one with the angles or rapey abusive sex dungeon shit like temple of set ran by people like aquino and crowley

Satanists are just atheists who want the same religious rights as Christians

both are dummyed
How so? I want to see how you see it.

Another note but it's a shame LaVey went with the name Satanism--he explains why he did this as "Man needs ceremony and ritual, fantasy and enchantment." as to fulfill emotional attachment to the movement--because from what I've read from the first 70 pages has really got my noggin racking. It's a very interesting line of thought in the way it works itself out in its application to people and nature. An example of which would be his flipping of the seven deadly sins as good things that weigh each-other out really had me thinking, because it does make sense, even after I meditated on it. Now at the same time, all of this is BURIED under copious amounts of edgy angst haha. Unrelated, but it's a true shame 764 branoobs stole the black sulfur symbol for their gay logo, it's a very sharp design. I hope to finish the text tomorrow or over the weekend. I'll zip it for the moment, because I'm extremely new to looking into all this, and I don't want to spew shit.
