Just dug through stylesheets and found the sources for the smilies but I couldn't implement them in a way where they actually appeared over the 1x1 transparent gifs Xenforo calls for. I can however fix wordfiltered words albeit in a heavy-handed manner. Any "caca" will immediately become "caca" for example even if that wasn't the intended message.@cargo Did some testing and it works pretty nice most of the time. Some of the images here are broken because I got cucked by Cuckflare for about 7 times (I assumed, because it keeps giving me error 403). One thing I would like to mention here are the wordfilters. I had auto login on Chrome to get rid of them initially but it doesn't work because the program seems to launch a fresh new Chrome window without any of my cache. Do you intend to just leave the wordfilters be or maybe a way to get rid of them, even partially?

Btw, was it by design that the program launches a new fresh Chrome window that didn't have user caches? The wordfilters could be bypassed if the program scrapes the site while the user is logged in.Just dug through stylesheets and found the sources for the smilies but I couldn't implement them in a way where they actually appeared over the 1x1 transparent gifs Xenforo calls for. It's a first time thing, you should have cache after a while thusly avoiding having to sit through the turnstile. You could log-in on your Chrome install prior but I wanted to side-step it as to not have user credentials be touched by anything vibecoded.Btw, was it by design that the program launches a new fresh Chrome window that didn't have user caches? Can it work on all Xenforo forums?https://u.pone.rs/ieppwqyt.zip
What it says on the tin. "Shroomchiver" is a simple python tool that should hopefully aid you in archiving this site. It works by scraping information from the site through a Chromium/Chrome window without clashing with rate-limiting and Xenforo's head-bangingly convuluted code. It repackages the pages contents into a new, clean and easy to navigate interface. If you encounter issues, please ping me and I'll attempt to see to it if I can.

>Do I need to pre-install Chrome?
I have no idea since I can only test this on one machine. Pyinstaller should have bundled the appropriate dependencies such as undetected-chromedriver and Selenium but I'm not certain. You probably will need it.
>Does it work with Ungoogled Chromium?
No idea, the script only calls for Chrome and Chromium and I'm not certain if Ungoogled uses its own commands to be called.
>Linux? BSD? Mac?
Yes. Maybe. Yes. Once again untested, but the code is there.
>_____ doesn't work and you haven't fixed it yet!
Alongside the .exe in the zip is the entire .py script itself. It's 726 lines long and commented thanks to being mostly vibe-coded. If you have a severe issue, try and fix it on your own firstly.
>I don't want to archive ______, does this thing have flags?
Lol, lmao.
Old showcase attachment below if you want to see how it works.
Get the latest script version and modifyCan it work on all Xenforo forums?
It does this by referring to a .json file that serves as a basic database of sorts for the search to refer too. If anyone else has any other features they want me to add, ask.Redoing the interface code and added some basic search functionality.
