I ordered my new bedding and curtains with my first paycheck from my new job, along with two dresses. The bedding and curtains are a really nice red velvet with a damask pattern on them. The dresses I got are a bit more casual than what I usually wear (long and flowy instead of knee-length and made to wear a petticoat underneath). I couldn’t decided whether to get the all black one or the black and white one so I got both. They’ll be nice for the rare days I go somewhere where I’m not able to wear a petticoat. I walked to the grocery store after work and got a yogurt to eat for lunch, but I didn’t end up eating it because my dad brought me a milkshake as a surprise. I also found the exact style of wool winter coat I wanted secondhand. When I got home from work I was really happy to find a package I ordered sitting on my chest at the foot of my bed. It’s really exciting I finally have it cuz it’s my absolute dream dress (along with the long sleeve variation but that one isn’t in stock). I’d been waiting a long time for it to be re-released. Since it was by a Japanese brand they addressed me in all their emails as (Real name)-San which I thought was funny. They also sent me a ton of random Japanese snacks and candies which was completely unexpected, but a very nice surprise. Among the candies were these little super Mario gummy candies. I was happy because my little brother loves super Mario so I gave them to him and he was very excited. Tonight my family and I had hot dogs and smores over a bonfire. I had a grilled cheese though because I don’t like hot dogs. All in all it was a very good day.
