And you can't ever change that, and it makes a shit ton of OC as well, without all the namecacaotry, all of the Jimbos, Warrior-Zs and satoko_houjou_fans we wouldn't have half of the variants we use today, because their popularity was all first driven by shitflinging or drama.

Also in general, namecacaing is just more fun in general than not on the booru, all of the autists do it because of that, and also attention, that is also why you won't ever get rid of it.

Alright we are making progress boorubros. Tag blacklisting is a go, anonymous commenting is possible (not mandatory) so a step in the right direction. Now make it sitewide, outlaw namecacaing, make uploader and approver names anonymous, and set the big D back to head janny so I can decide the rest, and we will be totally square.

i dont know if namecacaing should be banned outright. its aids and its autistic but namecaca shitflinging wars and 'tosses are sort of synonymous with the 'ru and its culture, and its not for everyone, but some people find it fun and its a draw for some people. maybe namecaca stuff could be blacklisted by default and if your logged out, so you have to sign in and have an account to namecaca and discuss them; i think people who just want to find soyjak oc/tosses and templates without having to worry about making an account and namecaca would appriciate that. also, maybe a flag you can enable on your posts where theres a indicator that namecaca discussion is banned in the comments on that post, which would be disable under posts tagged meta:namecaca.
