from my understanding, soycords are ruled independently from hostile offsites (who will not be named), but soycord bans are less about hostility and more about possible unmoderated brigading and 'cord owners not being able to prevent the sharing of rule-breaking/illegal content in their servers. something like TALKsons server wasn't banned for being "hostile" but because him and his dummyed jannies kept letting failtrolls failtroll.
