>What?
In 1976 an infamous author in the paranormal scene Brad Steiger wrote a book named the Gods of Aquarius, wherein he described "Star People" as "humans who come from a special gene pool linked to visits by extraterrestrials". This concept had existed in writings prior, but this name evidently stuck as in the 1980s and 1990s, the movement expanded as more authors began to coin different "star families" to clarify the supposed truth. These clarifications of-course being sourced from channeling alien species with remote-viewing and such.

To summarize what I've gathered from like one day of research peering into this rabbit-hole last week, specific constellations like Pleiades, Sirius, or Andromeda are packed full of aliens with unique spiritual missions. These aliens go through the process of putting their souls into human bodies to advance the human population further into peace and higher vibration. Those aware of their alien-human origins are also dubbed lightworkers by some.

>So it's more new-age bullshit?
Yes, but it's pretty interesting to observe. To round out this ramble, picrel below originates from starseed circles. It's a painting of Ashtar Sheran from the Ashtar Galactic Command. Starseeds believe that he is a cosmic peacekeeper force from the Andromeda galaxy that prevents hostile alien intervention and nuclear threats on Earth. Of-course doing all this from the comforts of his own spacecraft orbiting Earth. This information wasn't channeled funnily enough, rather it came from a TV hijacking on the 26th November 1977, just a year after Brad Steiger's writings. Recreation of said broadcast embedded below, as the original is long lost to time. To make a long ramble short, his followers have been stuck in a "two more weeks" cycle since 1977. To also side-note, all of this also happened during the Star Trek / Star Wars sci-fi boom, just letting it be known.

>Wait, isn't that picture not meant to be of a nordic alien?
noob, I'm as confused as you are at this point.
>Where are starseeds now?

I only know all this because I was looking for a pre-built CDI of the WIP Sonic Mania Dreamcast port and stumbled across "fuzzcast.com". Have a look yourself, it's full of weird writings and files. The sysop is clearly off his rocker.

Shortly put from a quick Wikipedia reading / JewTube video, George Van Tassel claimed to have made first contact with an alien called Ashtar in 1952 after moving to giant-rock California after Frank Kritzer died there for unclear reasons. Messages were anti-nuclear spiels and calls for peace. These were apparently followed by face-to-face contact with another alien, Solganda, who taught Van Tassel healing and time travel. A friend of Tassel made a group named Ashtar Command who thought they could channel Ashtar. Their channeled messages describe more of the same anti-nuclear stuffs.

Ashtar gets popular due to news publication and the rising interest in UFOs at the time and more people begin to channel messages from him. Thelma Tyrell - another channeler - begins writing novels paraphrasing channelings in the late 50s describing future events, but most if not all never happens until she began to lump in regurgitated Christian junk before tapping out in the 70s. Following all this the TV broadcast interruption happened alongside writings describing starseeds being lumped into all this.

In the 90s Ivo A. Benda apparently got contacted by Ashtar on his way home from work and dropped everything to go around the Czech Republic preaching his messages, before later creating the website I linked above. Apparently he's still going on shows and social-media to speak of this still all these years later, although he's sinced tacked on even more shit onto everything stated prior with reptilians and microchip scares.

I'll look more into this later, strange stuff.
