i had this problem a lot with the farty i make a stupid thread and make it very obvious that its a joke and noobs still dont get it

Bumping this because I'm coping and sneeding at the fact that an update just wiped half of the shit I had installed and done in Desktop Mode. SteamOS is fine if you want something dummy-proof, but if you want to do anything beyond the baby-proofing you have to go through an absolute headache doing so. It doesn't help that any guide on doing anything with the fucking thing are from smug reddit niggerniggernoobcacaots.

SteamOS is complete piece of shit, the "customization" Reddit users ramble about is nonexistent, and SteamOS is a coal that will kill Linux.
