I really miss WW2 reenacting, but I kind of cut off my friends and I'm sure they're autistic enough that I'd run into them if I ever tried to get back into it. Also I don't want to cut my hair or spend $1000+ on an impression.
It's so cool though, I recommend it. You're in character most of the day, and then you get to drink and act like dummys with the other autists while camping all night. Waking up in a tent to go have tea and eat by a fire in the morning was so comfy. We even set up impromptu battles and would also just randomly try and sneak into eachothers camps. That's the first time I've ever been choked out.

Also, they made me cut my hair on the spot, but then I saw a bitch with blue hair as a sniper so that's kind of gay

larp seems cool idk about being around other autists though, i think a lot of them are a bit annoying.

Maybe it's because I was younger, but idk. I got along with them better and more quickly than most people. It's a mix of "trainset autists" and "constant sperg-out autists" and I thought both were fun.
Events are ~monthly in my area, so I got a break from them after the weekend and was excited to reunite with them a month or two later.
I was pretty reserved and self-conscious back then, and I hated when people around me would sperg in public, but at the reenactments I joined right in and we pissed everyone off by being loud and obnoxious all night and I didn't care. It's like a whole different world.

Every shroomer should move to Illinois and form a wehrmacht unit and that is how we will save the shroom

@lifesucksthenyoudie this is a good thing actually dw about it. Both of our houses are huge and it's just too much to deal with both. Plus my grandma will be happy and we get to share a garden

My snake almost doesn't want to kill me anymore!
I'm trying not to pick him up, because my brother never handled him and I don't want to scare him. I have these bite proof gloves and stuck my hand in there and he only tried to strike me once before just checking my hand out and and shying away. I didn't want to fuck with him too much, so I'll try again tomorrow

Correction: I didn't stick my hand in, I rested my forearm by his door. I was excited so I got that part wrong.
I think tomorrow I will try using one of my flags to cover part of the tank, then hide behind it while putting my arm out like that again. He's probably scared by me towering over him, but otherwise, I think he's dumb enough to think my arm is just another object to climb on.

I also sat around his cage a lot today, so he gets used to me and ignores me. I switched between calling him "cutie" and "dummy" often. He is both.

Also, my brother came out to sell his old car that's sitting at my grandma's [I was at work :(] and apparently two cats have been living in it. So now my grandma has barn cats again and I love them and can't wait to meet them

I love cats, but my dad won't let me get one and my dogs are pricks so it's probably best I don't risk it. They're so sweet though and I like that they fuck off until they need attention just like me.
 
I wish I could go to steakfest but I have no friends and I'm not fun to be around so it wouldn't be worth the trip to New York and also I'd probably just get called unc a lot
