One of those ESL Indian languageswhat's Urdu?
urdu is the dialect for pakistan and actually india. round south asia and afghanistan people often speak it as its the official language for news stations etc. The script is persian (looks like arabic but has a couple other letters) .I don't think it was dementia probably just old age what's Urdu?
most i can do is care for her physically and keep her mind engaged. having death so nearby does give a bit of a reality check thoStay sreal womang and try to be there for you gramps as much as you can. I'm sorry for this hardship you and your family have to go through.

Death is still the realest of realities, it hits no matter what and is never easy to deal with. I really do wish you the best. Do feel free to talk if you feel the need to.
My grandma on my dad’s side passed from dementia last year. I didn’t know her all that well but it was really depressing seeing her in her final moments. Honestly I’m glad she was able to let go, hopefully she’s doing better in the afterlife than she was in the past few yearsover at grandmas house
