first of all /soy/ is not good, it has good threads on rare occassions, bait used to believable.
good boards are the following
/raid/ - doxxing and raiding, sometimes has moments of being really shit I think it was around July-August it was really shit idk
/mtv/ - very great discussion with consistent quality, due to being miscellaneous you can just actually use this as /soy/ but better
/tech/ - great technology discussion and advice
/v/ - good for vidya discussion despite the fact you can also do that on /mtv/
/a/ - idk if it's really good anymore kinda dipped in quality, but this shit used to be my basis for anime back in july-september, lots of 4chan oldcaca who write wordswordswords trvthnvkes on anime and generally when the masses recommend an anime it is actually good.

they still have activity and there will still be people posting new threads daily and new posts hourly or half-hourly depending on how alive it or quarter-hourly (is that a word)?
