I heavily doubt this would work out. Most people won't "wait" for everything to just end so it can get better, and if we're talking about YEARS of continued deterioration, people will just move on before it gets to a solid point to recuperate, and likely never come back to some new attempted revitalization. The only chance for a "pick up the scraps" post-shut-down scenario would have to come sooner rather than later, while there are still people bought in by the culture. Also, I think even if they JSID one day, I would imagine there would be a large portion of users who would be apprehensive to use any new IB or forums, even if it is better or the only other option, people are sreal womangly biased to things they see as "official".

You are correct but if we started one while the site is still up, the jannies wouldn't be very happy. Especially the big jannies. I think that we will have to wait until it shuts down to start another site and participate in the Second Splintered Age.

Assuming the forum is still up, we will have a good advantage in keeping the most active users around. Most people who dont trust splinters will go to our imageboard. That alone is a majority of 'eens. From there it's just cobbling together the pieces and waiting for public opinion to declare the nu-party the main site, and things will be alright. We survived the /qa/ocolypse, the Soypocalypse, and the Schlogpocalypse, and we will survive the next big coal to come too.

it used to be legitimately way worser back in oldsharty, people were posting fetishistic comments and porn of the characters back then (source: archives), this stopped being the case during Froot era or something. At least most people will go doctoos to this shit when it is posted, on zarty this is much less the case. This is why I believe waifucacaing should be banned entirely.
