I think the shroom should just stay the shroom, if a God damn forum takes over an imageboard in terms of PPH it would be kekworthy as fuck, but anyway, making an imageboard would be a quick rule 3 considering how much Quote clitty leaks over this site.

Besides, to run an imageboard you'd need better servers (that don't 503 every 30 minutes) and joons who have experience with imageboard software neither of which (apart from DOLL, and I think Broot who was once janny and I think DEM elect) have.

And most importantly a bigger demand for it, you may have thought the cacacaust created a lot of demand for an alt-splinter when in reality all of the cacas either kept posting on the sharty via ban evasion and resiproxys and or posting on the swaily and shoally, I don't think anybody except existing shroom users, and maybe some swailers would post on it (which could also lead to a rule 3)

it's not just the cacacaust and brownocaust, there's bottled up insatisfaction with the state of the website especially visible during coal hours. splintering now would be optimal to guarantee those people and get the strength of a new splinter
