/tn/ - Tunisian General

Yeah you could say that but Tunisian Arabic (Or just Maghrebian dialects in general) are more referred to as Darija as it's very different from dialects like Saudi, Egyptian or Lebanese Arabic.
Pretty much a different language.
I used to know alot of Arabic years back because I thought it was cool. I knew the levantine/egyptian dialects best. I still know some words but it's not as good as when I'd recognize what an Arab in TV or IRL would say and I could string up sentences.

Could you speak with a Moroccan or an Egyptian or Maltese or Lebanese or Saudi

Arabic is a really cool language it's just that I never really understood that well as a kid as I grew up with speaking French and English instead of Arabic like normal Tunisian children. So I wasn't really the best with Traditional/Fozha Arabic.

I can understand Libyan, Algerian and Saudi but I do have some problems understanding Moroccan.
I used to understand Egyptian as a kid because I used to watch some Egyptian youtuber but I lowkey kinda forgot.
I never really spoke with a Lebanese person.

Is French regularly spoken in Tunisia? I know they were a French colony but I thought they just spoke Arabic.

I mean't "Unlike normal Tunisian children" mb.
I grew up with a French-English childhood UNLIKE other Tunisian children who grew up with an Arabic childhood.

It's a bit hard to understand idk why.
Some words are really confusing to me.

Eh not really.
There are French schools as far as I know, a lot of my friends speak French (including me).
But most people don't use it regularly, they just speak in Darija (albeit there are a few french words there like "Déjà")

Why did you speak another language?

I know in Moroccan Arabic the word for 'kitchen' is 'cochina' from Spanish. They got a lot of Spanish words in the rif regions due to the Spanish protectorate, likewise Spanish got alot of Arabic influence and words from their own time under their neighbors' rule over them (al-Ándalus).

My mother just taught me French and English as my first languages and then Arabic as my third. I don't know why.

Us too, we say "Kojina" which is spelled the same way as "cochina".
We also haves some Italian and Greek words I think.
