I don't even know how the Satanic part wiggled itself onto my feed. During my past two week research into LaVeyan Satanism I have not once searched anything relating to it on Twitter.

I didn’t. I intentionally never capitalize anything other than the first letter of a sentence on the shroom to make it harder to connect it to my presence on other websites. I write in a different way everywhere.

This. Satan himself is merely viewed as a broad symbol for carnality, materialism and general humanistic values. Demons are not directly given meaning as a symbol from what I've read from LaVey's texts, but I assume they'd take a near identical role.

Researching it currently. I'm not certain on where I stand religiously at the moment. I'll tell you this much however, I certainly cannot see myself aligning with mainstream religion in my lifetime despite myself attending Catholic Church twice a week with my grandmother. I simply do not enjoy, find pleasure nor peace in Christianity beyond the brief notion that I had achieved some fulfilled taste of truth following a reading of the Apocryphon of John alongside "Gnosticism: New Light on the Ancient Tradition of Inner Knowing" by Stephan A. Hoeller. Despite those feelings I never read much deeper into the topic, yet something about LaVey has had me much more interested than any other preacher or "know-it-all" author has prior.

Protestantism is a mockery of a religion. It is a modern adaption Christianity for those unable to cope with the teachings in the Bible. A mutation fitted for a modern audience of then wife killers, and now dick-suckers. Most would be much better off just coming out clean and ridding themselves of self-imposed loose shackles that only leave them uncomfortable trying to keep on.
