I must enquire the janny-team here on what exactly it is we're doing as a collective forum at this stage. I feel as if learned-helplessness has been adopted by the majority in response to Shroot continually failing to adopt community wants and needs, thus leaving it to the jannies and ourselves (the users) to pick up the slack unofficially. (To mixed results.)

Simply sharing server-access with the trusted and willing staff like Apeson would resolve this issue instantly, yet nothing has been done. This resolution in of itself has been left to rot due to being ignored after the last server-handler got banned for loli shite off-site. It's boggling as to how any sysop could let himself fumble such a potentially golden community like this so quickly when the solution is that simple. If not for the connections made by a small thirty active posters amongst one another - a waining total barely kept afloat by 'sphere refugees - this forum would be even deader than it is already.

I would hand-wave all of this away, if not for the lack of discussion or drama to keep conversation and freshness flowing through the site, as it did the Shlog prior to Nagolbud creating themes at a regular basis and the following QoL and gallery updates. Speaking of gallery, so much for that Shrooru revival, eh?

At this stage and with current trends spelling out nothing but continued stagnation in the future, I wholeheartedly believe that pulling the plug would be the most respectable course of action.
