Tiresome.

I've been working towards finishing House Of Leaves, probably the most interesting read I've come across so far next to the flowers of evil by Charles Baudelaire. You honestly need to have a lot of time on your hands to get through both, especially House Of Leaves though I really like how complex and unconventional the book gets. It's a challenge but also a fun one if you're into that kind of thing - would recommend it regardless, there's no other book that can compare in my opinion to this experience, but go into it piece by piece so that you don't get burnt out. When it comes to reading materials I like to make my brain work overtime to make the activity feel worth it in the end, there's a lot to take away after these reads and a feeling of fulfillment.

- You should only ever read house of leaves as a physical copy, there's no point otherwise since a big part of this experience is within it's contents and the way the book makes you physically interact with it.

"The novel is a story within a story about family of four that moves into a home in Virginia where there is a mysterious room that is larger on the inside than the rest of the house is on the outside. Even more confounding, the room grows into a labyrinth that inexplicably grows exponentially."
