What if Claus was in Star Wars and had a lightsaber duel with Darth Vader but his lightsaber was black and longer than the usual Sith red lightsabers

Claus would be an ominous anomaly in the Star Wars galaxy: a human warlord from a lost era, wielding an unusually long black lightsaber—more like a two-handed greatsword than a standard blade. Its dark color could mark it as an ancient, unstable weapon, perhaps forged from corrupted kyber or connected to the Darksaber’s forgotten origins.

The duel with Darth Vader would be less about flashy acrobatics and more about control and ideology:

Claus would fight aggressively, using broad, theatrical swings and relying on intimidation. The extended blade would give him reach, forcing Vader to stay inside its arc. Vader, however, would remain calm and economical, using his superior Force abilities and mechanical strength to absorb each strike.

At first, the black blade might appear to overpower Vader’s red saber. Its longer reach could carve through corridors and machinery, turning the duel into a spectacle of sparks and smoke. But Vader would eventually exploit Claus’s rigidity. A feint, a Force pull, and a precise counterstroke would knock the oversized weapon aside.

Vader would win—not because Claus lacked ambition, but because Vader had endured genuine loss, pain, and transformation. Claus’s power would be built on spectacle and domination; Vader’s would be fueled by the Force and personal suffering.

The final image would be Vader standing over the fallen black blade, its unusual glow reflected in his mask. He might say:

“You mistook terror for power.”
The black lightsaber would then become a forbidden relic, remembered as a weapon that promised absolute control but could not defeat someone who had already passed through darkness.
