The Boorum would never have happened, and because of that, the Schlog is now just a XenForo version of the Boorum. A splinter would probably have been made later (ala Nophonobooru) as the culture became worse and worse. But just like with most splinters, most Schloggers never really gave a shit about or knew about this Schlog splinter.

In terms of activity, I don't think it would be the same, but moderation wise it would be similar to the Boorum. You have a point with the Schlog being a separate website and the Boorum being forced into one with Soybooru doe.
