What would you do if the internet shuts down?

A question thread
I think we've honestly gone to the point where the internet shutting down leads to a global catastrophe.

I think that most elecreal womanic and wireless tech still uses closed intranet connections so maybe it's not as bad as that. People on airplanes and big public transports are.peobably safe since they rely on those.

But still, most communication means do pass through the internet today, I think.

The big cities of the world would probably quickly become a hellscape for a few days. I think a lot of modern security measures and tech does rely on the internet, so a lot of looting would happen. I don't know if most police still rely on radio or only use internet tech, same for cameras ?
TV still works so broadcasting could continue and the government can still issue orders and maintain order.

The economy though ? Most workplaces probably have to shut down for a few days, and idk how banks deal with the digital place suddenmy shutting down ? Maybe this is where the most damage happens. Probably billions lost in digital money, all wireless transactions become impossible, most transactions are probably frozen in place. This looks grim.

This probably sends us back like 20 to 30 years into the past. We lose access to a lot of satellites if not all of them. Modern war zones linke Ukraine probably look very strange, as all drones suddenly stop working, or do they use closed intranets connections ?

It's not THAT bad, even if all the submarine cables and international links were destroyed there is still a LOT that can be done with the standing intranet of most developed nations

Start reading but biggest problem is how will I listen to my music
Supply and demand would make CDs the standard once more, accordingly CD players would go back into production and be widely available.
