Why would God create A religion?

I believe in God (higher power from which all that is, originates from, aka what pre socratics philosopher refer to as the "arche") but i dont believe in any particular religion. Perhaps God does communicate with prophets, but if so how does one achieve theological superiority? How can one know which is truely holy while others are "false"? Jesus, Mohamed or who ever the Jooz believe in might have truely been God's prophets/son but how can one know that the Holy text has not been altered by greedy men or liars?

In seriousness God probably doesn't care which specific denomination you are so long as you aren't doing satancuck nonsense and/or using religion to cover up evil, a person who doesn't believe but still lives an honorable life is better than someone who believes but chooses to be an evildoer anyways

That's the way i see it, if you dont believe in God you can still follow his will but believing in him makes it easier to do so. Oh well i guess i am hypocritical for saying that while tipsy/high but being a sinner does'nt stop me from pondering theology.
