Read berserk, the whole plot is this basically.

As a summary, God doesn't exist and life is meaningless. Humans want reason for suffering and pain, even though there is no reason for suffering and pain. The Idea of Evil is the physical and spiritual manifestation of humanity's desire for a reason for pain and suffering, which creates Evil as this very reason. Evil is created by humanity's collective unconscious to give reason to pain and suffering. The whole plot of Berserk.
Pretty sure that the idea is that most people in Beserk try and create a fantasy "God" to justify why people are horrible. I mean the godhands are literally just demons who send people to literal hell, while using religion to justify the suffering of others. It isn't so much as there isn't a reason for pain and suffering, its just that they try and justify their own greedy ambitions and desires through an imaginary scapegoat.

I haven’t read the bible is hell actually fire and brimstone or is it just “the absence of God” because I’ve heard both.
Hell at this current time isn't actually fiery or hot necessarily, it's just a place where lost souls go. The reason it's so bad is because God's protection (from Satan and his minions) is now gone.
Only after the great white throne judgment will everyone in hell and Satan+all his fallen angels be thrown into a lake of fire as equals.

Morality exists independent of a God or religion. How can you say with a straight face that in a vacuum, people who giftbomb or kill isn't considered meaningful because there isn't consequences. Consequences don't make the misdeed bad, it's the misdeed that is inherently bad
actually I disagree with this, without God there's no objective morality
if I'm really just some chemical reactions in my brain nothing would really stop me from let's say for example killing a bunch of people for no real reason

The stoppage would come from the groups you surround yourself with. Cavemen worked on a system of tribes were such a behaviour would either result in death or exile. Exile that would force the wrongdoer, unadjusted to individual life, to face the natural elements alone. Whites are intelligent enough of a race as to not chimp out over literally nothing. Come on now.

I agree. What I meant is that if someone's evil deeds go unpunished during his life and there is not divine punishment then existence is inherently flawed.

"Biology" tells us not to?
yeah
The same biology which makes us angry and hateful?
adaptations to hostile environments, i.e. competition, survival from hostile organisms. its expression isn't fixed; it's a flexible response to threats to basic needs like safety, dignity, or connection, shaped by experience and environment.
Which causes us to violently lash out and take joy in the suffering of our enemies?
product of pent-up tension. animals release tension after adrenaline shitoko it's customary for humans not to.
That "Biology"?
yeah

It would not change the fact it would still be immoral in any scenario because the very definition of moral literally means "good manners." Thing is not good or bad because there's punishment afterwards

What I meant is that if someone's evil deeds go unpunished during his life
This already happened lole I witnessed how a guy literally drugged and raped a 16 year old and never got prison time for it at all (I hope he kills himself after alienating his family and becoming completely unhireable). Evil people exist and becoming evil because of it is immoral because two wrongs don't make a right. Why not have a proper judicial system instead of creating hell on earth in that case?

The godhand is more or less created by the Idea of Evil which controls causality, like the Idea of Evil is an actual being we see in the manga, not just a philosophical concept.
It appears before griffith before he becomes femto.
