Being a politician in a corrupt country is asking to be assassinated or targeted by criminal organizations. It's literally easier to just be a military officer and orchestrate a coup rather than being in office without taking any bribes

Because there are too many dumb noobs who make this task very difficult. Plus our culture is shit, being honest in this country almost never pays off and being a criminal gets you a slap in the wrist at most.
I would like to become a politician and improve this country but it feels like a lost cause with the level of idiocracy of the average citizen,speciallyy in the lower classes of society.
