What Linux distro should a newcaca like me use?

I plan to upgrade to a dual boot and run linux for the first time sometime after support for windows 10 ends, and I am not exactly keen on looking for decades of discussions, intricacies and snca to find out which one I should use as a newfig, so that's why I want the opinion of such intelligent aryans like you guys.
Just recommend the least pozzed of them to me.

I'm running ChromeOS because I'm an OCDnoob and the included Linux hypervisor is easily reset with a few clicks. Saves me from reinstalling if I fuck something up. Performance loss isn't too bad.

Debian and just look for a list of common packages you'll need because it's barebones by default. If you don't wanna do the latter, install a newcaca distro like linux mint, ubuntu or manjaro

My first device was actually my school chromebook, and I used a chroot to run ubuntu on it so I could run steam and run games faster on the lightweight xfce desktop. I had a lot of fun when I finished class early (which was almost always) and played duke nukem, doom, 2d emulators, basic steam games like don't starve - it couldn't run tf2 because the 21GB size of the game was twice the size of the internal storage (10GB).

Unless you are using a server edition without a desktop environment (and then adding packages manually) this isn't true, I shit you not one time I installed the MATE edition of Debian and it had a fucking English to Hindi program preinstalled along with a bunch of other garbage. I love Debian but that was annoying.
It was an official ISO from their site too, not some jeetware one.

I've never used debian, so I just assumed it was like Arch with just a command line to install everything. It's different then

You are going to deal with slower updates to packages (and the entire os) as Debian is more oriented to stability.

Mint but learn to use the terminal so you can actually properly learn Linux. Once you have at least a year of experience you can switch to Gentoo and customize your entire PC however you want

Windows 10 but with an ai keylogger, ugly hyperminimalist icons, and a mangled ass ui that looks more like something from Android than any computer. Use windows 10 ltsc or whatever it's called, no bloat and it gets support until like 2032
