December 17th, 2025: A 6 hour day of work. I woke up at 6:50am and hopped out of bed to get cereal, I’d wait on coffee at work and then went walked to the bus stop at 7:45am, I got on the bus at 7:55am and took it to work. It’s a lot warmer than yesterday but I still wore my standard coat to work. I printed a 11” x 17” map of the bus route system to set up as a decoration. I got in to fill up the coffee grind holder with fresh grinds but the coffee inside was still warm for whatever reason. I clocked in and I went over to Seth M to see what he wanted me to to but the website guy wanted me to start working on recreating this information sheet for the volunteers and I did that, I changed the font to EB Garamond and added more detail. I printed that out and then had to actually get to work on programming. At 10:08am, I got a message from grandma Jane:
<gifterson—please send me size and colors for suit or sport coats!
I continued the conversation:
>Adults small.
<Colors!!!!!
>Vibrant!
<Wait what? Vibrant is not a color!!
>Vibrant colors.
At 11:00am the Indian lady came in and gave me a chocolate as a thank you for the tech help I’ve given her.

I ate it and it had a hazelnut cream interior. I continued to work on programming the Typescript React file by pretending to be an accomplished software developer who uses
Claude.ai. I talked to Edgar and he said his sick son was doing a half day on Edgar’s orders despite his son wanting to do a full day of class. Edgar talked to his son’s mom about something. I overheard that he’s 44 now. Shocking, I wouldn’t like to end up divorced, but I heard couples who pray together are at a 0.1% chance of divorcing, or a 1‰ chance (look up per mille). I went over to the pizza place for lunch and got the employee discount again. I ate and went back to program more. I saw Shima C and the younger Ukrainian woman go out for a smoke break. I had to help Mrauku with his printer and I just unplugged it and plugged it back in. I had been told by Seth M I could leave at 2:30pm and I did. I took the bus home and got to my computer to work. I was on Kiwifarms for a while and listening to music before I started my progress test after an hour. At 4:32pm, I finally heard my first ever ICE advertisement on Spotify when I forgot to close out of the program and reopen it to skip all the ads. Well here’s the 9th question and my response:
<Beginning as early as Early Christian art, the image of Jesus Christ commanded a central role in Western art. In your own words, using at least three examples we looked in class, discuss the different ways that Christ has been represented in art during the periods we have studied in class. You can chose examples from any periods we have studied this semester, including our lectures on Early Christian and Byzantine art, but all examples should be from our course/lecture material. What messages do we find in the various representations of Christ? How are the different ways of representing Christ related to his role or importance? How was the image of Christ influenced by non-Christian art? Remember to support your essay with the examples chosen from our class materials.
>Throughout the course from the widespread adoption of Christianity in the 4th century up until 1453 AD. Depictions of Jesus Christ were notable for a transition away from unnecessary pagan elements transforming into something completely distinct from the older pagan art. Christ as Sol Invictus is an early example of Christian art around the beginning of the 4th century having paganism creep into it, its depiction of Jesus Christ as the late Roman God of the sun Sol Invictus is jarring to modern people. With Jesus having the same sun crown as Sol Invictus and driving a chariot of horses instead of his role as a shepherd.
>With the Sarcophagus of Junius Bassus, carved sometime around Junius Bassus’ death on August 25th, 359, some pagan elements can be seen and other iconic Christian elements are absent. Including adult Jesus being depicted with a beard or scenes of the crucifixion. Although many other old and new testament stories are depicted engraved.
>The later Ebbo Gospel from the 9th century is noticably more stripped of pagan elements as compared to earlier art. In which the author pages for the four gospels depicts each author writing into a book (their gospel) with a small animal present in the background. Drawing from symbolism directly in the Bible, namely Ezekiel 1:10
☛10 As for the likeness of their faces, they four had the face of a man, and the face of a lion, on the right side: and they four had the face of an ox on the left side; they four also had the face of an eagle.
>and Revelation 4:7:
☛7 And the first beast was like a lion, and the second beast like a calf, and the third beast had a face as a man, and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle.
>Instead of drawing on pagan themes.
I got dressed better for the Eucharistic adoration event, I shaved and got on the bus at 6:15pm. I missed out on Bible study except for the end at the 2nd book of the Bible Exodus with Sixes, his friend, Elijah, and Magdalus there, detailing the festival of Passover. I had the last 2 slices of pizza while Mercurius told us about his fiancée Heather, while Heather was pretty Catholic, Heather’s brother wasn’t and his girlfriend was absolutely not because the girlfriend’s already mad at me psychically for calling her a girl when she’s a Male to Female (MtF) pooner and Magdalus is conflicted on how public he should be with his faith. We went into the main building. I saw many people there, like Clyde wearing a light blue veil waiting for confession, Quinci wearing a veil for the first time, Oriang, Nash, Alley carrying the Haitian single mother’s child, the single mother was nowhere to be seen, Quinn, Collum, Elizabeth, Pethuel, Gabriella, Luigi, and Ruth the super old lady who seldom goes to the Catholic center was at Eucharistic adoration. The Keralan man was acolyting with Elijah and a third person. The priests included Father Aquinas, Father Palmer, Father Malachi, a bigger guy who I will be calling Father Hart, and 2 other people. At 6:59pm Petra messaged me on Snapchat and started this conversation:
<Hey
>You weren’t at the Catholic center yesterday…
<No sorry I forgot
>Bruh
And left on read. Mass went through as normal and I got out soon to the social event. I guided people in and Elijah had to drink from paper bowls of water because there weren’t any cups. I talked to some of the people from the Catholic center present and ended up drinking from a paper bowl. I saw Luigi’s brother with much more tame hair than Luigi. Luigi’s brother is 23 by the way. I talked Father Hart and found out he’s up in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin and came all the way down here because Malachi invited him and he was free. I drank from the water bowl and talked with Quinn because he’s back, he wore a red and white plaid shirt and I then realized it was time for me to leave for my bus but decided against it. I stayed longer and skipped that bus. Gabriella pulled me aside and asked why I was holding a bowl of water, softly hitting me with her paperback book she was holding. I had to ask her for her to take my photo with the bowl:

I asked her where she was going for Christmas and she told me although she and her parents live in Columbus, Ohio, Gabriella was born in Cincinnati. I said hello to Cronstedt as I left to head to the bus stop. I waited a while until the bus arrived and I took it home. I got back, posted my diary entry, took a shower, and went to sleep.
