December 14th, 2025: The Lord’s day today. I woke up and walked to the bus stop to the grocery store to buy food. I grabbed some milk, a large bag of cereal, yogurt, bananas, potato mix, and 2 cans of chicken noodle soup. I walked and the bus wasn’t coming as the next one was still on break. I walked back with my coat shifted so my nose was covered preventing a runny nose, I finally got back after what felt like forever walking and cooked an entire can of cinnamon rolls. I ate all 8 of them, yes, all 8. I got coffee to wash it down and gamed for a bit until I went to church at 9:55am. I dressed much better than last time, both outfit wise (my dance suit minus the tie) and layer wise (I wrapped my red scarf around my face and nose) I got in and volunteered with Cronstedt and Magdalus. I volunteered to read Isaiah 35:1-6, 10:
☛1 The wilderness and the dry land shall be glad, the desert shall rejoice and blossom; like the crocus
☛2 it shall blossom abundantly, and rejoice with joy and singing. The glory of Lebanon shall be given to it, the majesty of Carmel and Sharon. They shall see the glory of the LORD, the majesty of our God.
☛3 Strengthen the weak hands, and make firm the feeble knees.
☛4 Say to those who are of a fearful heart, “Be sreal womang, fear not! Behold, your God will come with vengeance, with the recompense of God. He will come and save you.”
☛5 Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf unstopped;
☛6 then shall the lame man leap like a hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing for joy. For waters shall break forth in the wilderness, and streams in the desert;
☛10 And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, and come to Zion with singing; everlasting joy shall be upon their heads; they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.

I got back and took note of the people there, Luigi, Nash, Mahdi, Stearns, Kristine, Markus, Markus’ brother wearing a Denver Broncos jersey with the number 14 on it, Alley, Sixes and his friend, Upsilon and lots of others. Frociaggine and Elijah were acolyting. I went in for confession with Father Aquinas and it was pretty short. Mass started and I went up to do my reading once we first sat down after standing up. The homily was nice. Oriang and Morgado sat next to me and while we were kneeling for parts of the mass, Oriang was sick so whenever she sneezed, I gave her the side eye, and she looked back at me with the ‘What?’ look with a bit of a laugh. I got out after some prayer and only had a small thing of eggs for lunch. I sat with Markus and Mahdi to discuss at a shared meal. Mahdi told me he was honorably discharged from the military 6 months before he was supposed to leave. He read out the text conversation between him and Zephyr about the tickets and how she rejected the offer because of film projects. I then told asked him why Zephyr didn’t come and he said something about the cold weather despite me living farther from the church than she does from it. Lol. He also brought up Asherah and the class they share together, there was a law debate about a Supreme Court decision relating to banning Transgender people from the military and how 29th United States secretary of defense Pete Hegseth partially fucked it up by saying in a tweet how it was basically a ban when the argument was that it is actually based on the mental disorder. One perosn on Asherah’s team compared erectile dysfunction treatment for men to gender affirming care, Markus told his inexperienced debate teammate to focus on attacking that dummyed point. I then told him about RadTrad a bit and I just mentioned the Asherah lookalike I saw at the Trinedine mass church and I mentioned to him that I thought Asherah was an asshole to her sister RadTrad. I left soon after that and walked back home in the cold. I gamed more up until 4:45pm when there was a text in the mega discipleship groupchat about Magdalus needing somebody to put some boiling water on the pot at 5:15pm. I said hi to James the Greater because he arrived home with groceries and greeted me with his standard:
“Yo!”
I took the bus at 4:45pm and got there before mass was starting at the church, the lights were off and 9 people were in line for confession. I tried getting into the attached house but couldn’t for a while until Nash and a friend of his let me in. We talked and started working on macaroni and cheese bacon bake. It was a while before I realized I was at the wrong house for the feast. Magdalus called me at 5:33pm and told me he’d drive over and drive me back. I got in his car and we got there to some men cooking. Bernarda was hanging out in the living room separate from us, Elijah left to get some more shitoko Seraphim was in charge of searing the steaks in a pan, Sixes and his friend were in the dining room, Nicodemus arrived a bit later. The Green Bay Packers vs Denver Broncos was playing on a laptop and I was in charge of seasoning the angus steaks, first pepper, then thyme, rosemary, and finally garlic salt. I asked for guidance on how heavy I should season it and Seraphim told me:
“Season it like the person has a hard time tasting shitoko

I did that and continued with getting all the thin steaks seasoned, I checked the price per pound on the 4 packages and I’d reckon it cost Magdalus $85 dollars. While Seraphim was playing music and cooking, he changed the music for me to In The Court Of The Crimson King by King Crimson. Elijah came back with some rub and told me a helpful tip is to drag the knife along the steak a lot to inflict microscopic cuts on the steak so it has more surface area. Serpahim loved my fancy outfit for seasoning steaks and cutting them up and called me his sous-chef. Seraphim told me the story of him going to an Ethiopian Orthodox liturgy on the south side of this county , it lasted six hours and a guy there gave him a stick to help him stand because said liturgy was done always standing. Magdalus had me boil the farfalle pasta for a while and dumped 3 bags of it into the pot. It took a while to boil and Seraphim gave me shit for liking raw pasta when I saw him eat one or two beforehand. He taught me this technique with searing ribeye steak is to cook it in the oven beforehand and then quickly sear it so it cooks evenly. I then covered mine with Elijah’s rub and had it sear in a separate pan with lots of butter. I went out to the dining room and talked for a bit. Nicodemus is 25 and his sister and her husband owned the house that we went swimming at a while back because his brother-in-law is a CFO at a company which donates to the Catholic center a lot. Markus talked about his family history of ocular migraines coming from his grandfather’s mom. Markus told us he was going to be 30 when he finished up with all his schooling because he wants to have a PhD in History. We said a meal prayer then dug into the food. I absolutely loved the steak and pasta with the parmigiano-romano sauce with it. We did a discussion what we’re thankful for after going around in a circle and then we helped clean up. I left after talking with the Honuran (he arrived super late), Upsilon, and Elijah to be picked up by Titania at 8:05pm. She got a call from her mom and she told him that we’re on a date. We drove down to the arcade and walked in. I ordered a rum and coke while she ordered a double strength vodka cranberry. We went gaming and the first game I did was Asteroids while she went to Dig Dug. I swapped to other games like Hogan’s Alley, Super Mario Bros, The Stranger Things pinball game, the Godzilla pinball game, BurgerTime, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, We played some of the original Super Smash Bros for the Nintendo 64 and then later Mario Kart 64 where I won most games (I lost one because I did a loop as a taunt and she got the lead on me. She ordered a Modelo halfway through and then we left at 10:30pm. She was pretty drunk and we made out for a while until she sobered up and drove me home where we made out more and then made out more. I told her to text me when she got home safe and we parted ways. I got inside and then took a shower and kept writing about my experience today and then went to sleep at 12:12pm after I published my diary entry for the day.

December 15th, 2025: Back to work for the week. I woke up at 6:45am. I had Reese’s Puffs for cereal and waited to get coffee at work. I hopped on the bus at 7:56am and took it in. I realized I left my lanyard and keyfob at home just before getting into the building, I dropped off my stuff at my branch and then walked into the main branch to brew coffee and get ready for the Monday meeting. I sat by the window and the CEO wasn’t here so I couldn’t record his speech. The Latinx lady told us some stuff like celebrating December birthdays, including Portia born December 22nd and Zarith C born December 20th. The Polish lady was gone, Mrauku was there, Zarith C and Shima C were there as normal Joy was going to the DMV, and Edgar was out caring for his sick son. I talked about working on the database now. Seth M’s friend’s wife is 20 weeks pregnant and everybody clapped, seriously. When I got out Seth M told me I should move to one of two spots, one in the big office where the Ukrainian man used to sit and another one there a bit secluded next to Edgar’s spot. I took the one by Edgar’s desk and worked on moving stuff over. Edgar still didn’t arrive and I went over to talk to Staples about the photographs of the new employees, one of which included Liseuxa. She told me there were two employees who hadn’t submitted photos, Liseuxa was a part of that list also. I told her I could call Liseuxa right now and remind her but she said it’s ok. I talked to Tia later and she told me she would send it by the end of the day. I heard on the news today that there was a shooting at Brown University, the college my dad got waitlisted at but never attended on the 13th, 2 students were killed, Ella Cook a college Republican and Mukhammad Aziz Umurzokov from Uzbekistan. I had a friend from Uzbekistan early on in college but he had to go to this unaccredited university in northern Illinois because his dad’s business went under. I went over to the pizza place for lunch and I got a slice of chicken parmigiano pizza with a cup of water on the house. I had that and then went back to work at 1:00pm. The Indian volunteer came to me about her scan folder not working so Seth M guided me through making one for her on the printer folder. When I went over to Seth M’s office to talk to him about something related to the project, I walked past Joy’s office to see her ironing a kimono at work. I was wearing my outfit from the dance minus the tie and with a different, Ralph Lauren white long sleeved white button-up. I thought about asking her to let me iron it but taking it off would be weird. When I got back I had to be let into the main office by Seth M’s friend and he chastised me saying:
“You are supposed to have your badge with you, don’t go outside of your assigned spot as much, if you need Seth M just call him or email him.”
I walked back to my new spot. I had made little progress with the folder by the time I had to leave at 4:00pm and caught the bus at 4:05pm. I went home and browsed KiwiFarms and wrote for my German final presentation. I found out that it was moved to be due Tuesday instead of Monday (today). I had the slideshow done but I realized my slightly broken headphones from work I left at work because I had guilt about stealing. So I couldn’t record them sadly. I spent more time on KiwiFarms and writing. Turns out dcss is now in upper New York for vacation according to the groupchat. I heated up a can of black beans for dinner as James the Greater was walking around in the apartment and gaming in his room like normal. I ate some yogurt for dessert, I took a shower and went to sleep.

December 16th, 2025: Another day of work, I had cereal for breakfast and I waited on getting coffee at work. I tried taking the 7:53am bus but I just missed it so I’d have to wait until 8:07am. I got into work on time regardless but Seth M was already teaching the receptionist how to brew coffee at the coffee machine. I got to my spot to see Edgar still absent to take care of his son and I had to write more code in my spot. I took my backpack today because I actually needed to sneak my broken headphones back home to record a presentation. I had coffee regardless and I saw this collection of Korean coffee packets that Edgar had. The Ukrainian man came over to grab a packet of Korean coffee because Edgar personally said he could have some. I messaged Edgar at 9:30am:
>We have a bagel saved for you.
He texted me back after like an hour.
<You’re alright man, you’re alright.
I had made little progress on the .tsx file when I went to Seth M to ask for help with an issue I was having and at the time, the Rastafarian came in to ask for help with getting back into his email and I walked him through the steps of logging back in after resetting his password and giving him a new one. I had Seth M come and tell me that I needed to have the work done in the main branch of the project instead of creating my own fork like I’m used to whenever I used Github. I had to rewrite and troubleshoot quite a bit before we ended up cloning it in under C:\Windows\System32, yes I am playing with fire. I later tried testing out the scanner for the printer and get some stuff into my folder. I tried scanning first with the paper I got, a printout of the volunteer spreadsheet, and it jammed the scanner. I opened up the printer and pried it out to see some damage on it, I next did it with 2 pieces of paper detailing the Zimbabwean, Seth M, and I’s plan for the database project and it worked well, although it appeared at an angle and it wouldn’t let me copy the text like with some PDFs. I went back and continued to write. Shima C and the younger Ukrainian woman came over to me with issues with their bluetooth keyboards. I fixed Shima C’s issue by turning on bluetooth for her computer and the Ukrainian woman’s issue by having her swap charging cables with Shima C. Lunchtime rolled around around 12:15pm today because my stomach was growling audibly. I went over to the pizza place, I wasn’t feeling good stomach-wise so I ordered a Sprite with my pizza slice and I redeemed some points to make it super cheap. I walked back after lunch and browsed Xitter for a while when I saw a post about someone who said they were Irish Catholic and wouldn’t stop complaining about God not giving her good things in life. I continued writing and after a bit I asked the younger Ukrainian woman if the older Ukrainian woman was her mom because I heard her call her “mama” a few times but she said no. Oh. I walked around a bit to clear my mind and saw an email about a crackdown on employees being here who don’t bring their badges and keyfobs to work. I wrote an email to the Latinx lady asking for 6 hours tomorrow, Thursday, and Friday. I ended up clocking out at 4:20pm and ran over to the bus stop to get on when it arrived. At 4:26pm, I saw the FAS woman who loves Drew Afualo on the bus talking with a poor guy misfortunate enough to be in her presence. I got off the bus and dropped my backpack at home before walking over to the Catholic center. I walked in to go upstairs and I chilled out with some others. At 5:04pm, I found out that Nash is from Pulaski, Wisconsin. I went down and sat all the way in the corner for mass and took count of all the people here: Urbino, Mahdi, Ava, Jade, Stearns, Sixes and his friend, this girl who looks like Punk’s friend but thinner, Henry, Bernarda, Quinci, Gabriella, Kristine, Cronstedt, and Magdalus. Seraphim arrived through the homily on the gospel reading about none other than the Pharisees. The priest related it to today with one of his ancestors contributing this monstrance to a Catholic church in Switzerland. He then brought up people who say:
“As someone who is Irish Catholic…”
Always having the least Catholic thing to say and just constantly crying about guilt as if the Irish were too primitive to discover the concept of confession. Markus’ girlfriend came in a bit later and sat next to me, with Markus’ brother coming in later than that. She was nice enough to share the parish hymnal with me because I didn’t have one for myself. I got the Eucharist and prayed before going upstairs for dinner. While waiting I saw Oriang and gave her a judgemental stare because she didn’t come to mass due to her job. I got chicken chili and then sat by myself, only to be joined by Elijah, the Honduran, Markus’ Brother, Mahdi, and even Mercurius, I kept snacking on the festive mint and candycane flavored Kisses. I went upstairs to see Bernarda, Nash, Luigi, and Alley and Bernarda said I dressed like a mob enforcer with my button-up, dress pants, and a signet ring (just a regular ring) on my right pinky finger. I lacked the armbands. Oriang wrapped up a grape for the white elephant event. At 7:22pm, the priest dressed as Santa handed out spare brownies and I ate one, but not before taking a photo of my outfit kind of.

I wish I was able to buy a gift to participate. A good amount of presents were things like books by various saints and stuff, there was even a 2 liter bottle of Diet Coke. I stuck around the white elephant event until 8:00pm when I went home and recorded my German presentation and posted it. I took a shower, posted my diary, and went to sleep.

December 17th, 2025: A 6 hour day of work. I woke up at 6:50am and hopped out of bed to get cereal, I’d wait on coffee at work and then went walked to the bus stop at 7:45am, I got on the bus at 7:55am and took it to work. It’s a lot warmer than yesterday but I still wore my standard coat to work. I printed a 11” x 17” map of the bus route system to set up as a decoration. I got in to fill up the coffee grind holder with fresh grinds but the coffee inside was still warm for whatever reason. I clocked in and I went over to Seth M to see what he wanted me to to but the website guy wanted me to start working on recreating this information sheet for the volunteers and I did that, I changed the font to EB Garamond and added more detail. I printed that out and then had to actually get to work on programming. At 10:08am, I got a message from grandma Jane:
<Gemerson—please send me size and colors for suit or sport coats!
I continued the conversation:
>Adults small.
<Colors!!!!!
>Vibrant!
<Wait what? Vibrant is not a color!!
>Vibrant colors.
At 11:00am the Indian lady came in and gave me a chocolate as a thank you for the tech help I’ve given her.
1766119210445.jpeg

I ate it and it had a hazelnut cream interior. I continued to work on programming the Typescript React file by pretending to be an accomplished software developer who uses Claude.ai. I talked to Edgar and he said his sick son was doing a half day on Edgar’s orders despite his son wanting to do a full day of class. Edgar talked to his son’s mom about something. I overheard that he’s 44 now. Shocking, I wouldn’t like to end up divorced, but I heard couples who pray together are at a 0.1% chance of divorcing, or a 1‰ chance (look up per mille). I went over to the pizza place for lunch and got the employee discount again. I ate and went back to program more. I saw Shima C and the younger Ukrainian woman go out for a smoke break. I had to help Mrauku with his printer and I just unplugged it and plugged it back in. I had been told by Seth M I could leave at 2:30pm and I did. I took the bus home and got to my computer to work. I was on Kiwifarms for a while and listening to music before I started my progress test after an hour. At 4:32pm, I finally heard my first ever ICE advertisement on Spotify when I forgot to close out of the program and reopen it to skip all the ads. Well here’s the 9th question and my response:
<Beginning as early as Early Christian art, the image of Jesus Christ commanded a central role in Western art. In your own words, using at least three examples we looked in class, discuss the different ways that Christ has been represented in art during the periods we have studied in class. You can chose examples from any periods we have studied this semester, including our lectures on Early Christian and Byzantine art, but all examples should be from our course/lecture material. What messages do we find in the various representations of Christ? How are the different ways of representing Christ related to his role or importance? How was the image of Christ influenced by non-Christian art? Remember to support your essay with the examples chosen from our class materials.
>Throughout the course from the widespread adoption of Christianity in the 4th century up until 1453 AD. Depictions of Jesus Christ were notable for a transition away from unnecessary pagan elements transforming into something completely distinct from the older pagan art. Christ as Sol Invictus is an early example of Christian art around the beginning of the 4th century having paganism creep into it, its depiction of Jesus Christ as the late Roman God of the sun Sol Invictus is jarring to modern people. With Jesus having the same sun crown as Sol Invictus and driving a chariot of horses instead of his role as a shepherd.
>With the Sarcophagus of Junius Bassus, carved sometime around Junius Bassus’ death on August 25th, 359, some pagan elements can be seen and other iconic Christian elements are absent. Including adult Jesus being depicted with a beard or scenes of the crucifixion. Although many other old and new testament stories are depicted engraved.
>The later Ebbo Gospel from the 9th century is noticably more stripped of pagan elements as compared to earlier art. In which the author pages for the four gospels depicts each author writing into a book (their gospel) with a small animal present in the background. Drawing from symbolism directly in the Bible, namely Ezekiel 1:10

☛10 As for the likeness of their faces, they four had the face of a man, and the face of a lion, on the right side: and they four had the face of an ox on the left side; they four also had the face of an eagle.
>and Revelation 4:7:
☛7 And the first beast was like a lion, and the second beast like a calf, and the third beast had a face as a man, and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle.
>Instead of drawing on pagan themes.
I got dressed better for the Eucharistic adoration event, I shaved and got on the bus at 6:15pm. I missed out on Bible study except for the end at the 2nd book of the Bible Exodus with Sixes, his friend, Elijah, and Magdalus there, detailing the festival of Passover. I had the last 2 slices of pizza while Mercurius told us about his fiancée Heather, while Heather was pretty Catholic, Heather’s brother wasn’t and his girlfriend was absolutely not because the girlfriend’s already mad at me psychically for calling her a girl when she’s a Male to Female (MtF) pooner and Magdalus is conflicted on how public he should be with his faith. We went into the main building. I saw many people there, like Clyde wearing a light blue veil waiting for confession, Quinci wearing a veil for the first time, Oriang, Nash, Alley carrying the Haitian single mother’s child, the single mother was nowhere to be seen, Quinn, Collum, Elizabeth, Pethuel, Gabriella, Luigi, and Ruth the super old lady who seldom goes to the Catholic center was at Eucharistic adoration. The Keralan man was acolyting with Elijah and a third person. The priests included Father Aquinas, Father Palmer, Father Malachi, a bigger guy who I will be calling Father Hart, and 2 other people. At 6:59pm Petra messaged me on Snapchat and started this conversation:
<Hey
>You weren’t at the Catholic center yesterday…
<No sorry I forgot
>Bruh
And left on read. Mass went through as normal and I got out soon to the social event. I guided people in and Elijah had to drink from paper bowls of water because there weren’t any cups. I talked to some of the people from the Catholic center present and ended up drinking from a paper bowl. I saw Luigi’s brother with much more tame hair than Luigi. Luigi’s brother is 23 by the way. I talked Father Hart and found out he’s up in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin and came all the way down here because Malachi invited him and he was free. I drank from the water bowl and talked with Quinn because he’s back, he wore a red and white plaid shirt and I then realized it was time for me to leave for my bus but decided against it. I stayed longer and skipped that bus. Gabriella pulled me aside and asked why I was holding a bowl of water, softly hitting me with her paperback book she was holding. I had to ask her for her to take my photo with the bowl:
1766119210467.jpeg
I asked her where she was going for Christmas and she told me although she and her parents live in Columbus, Ohio, Gabriella was born in Cincinnati. I said hello to Cronstedt as I left to head to the bus stop. I waited a while until the bus arrived and I took it home. I got back, posted my diary entry, took a shower, and went to sleep.

I asked her where she was going for Christmas and she told me although she and her parents live in Columbus, Ohio, Gabriella was born in Cincinnati. I said hello to Cronstedt as I left to head to the bus stop. I waited a while until the bus arrived and I took it home. I got back, posted my diary entry, took a shower, and went to sleep.

@grok summarize

December 18th, 2025: Another Thursday of work. I got up at 6:50am and got dressed in this company button-up they gave me last month. I had cereal and waited to get coffee at work. I took the bus at 7:56am and got off to press brew then take a packet of Edgar’s coffee mix. I put it in my coffee and it didn’t really change the flavor that much. I clocked in around 8:25am and started work. I just did some programming for most of the day. Staples came over to Edgar’s desk while scanning some stuff to talk with him. He talked about a nutty professor of philosophy at my college and the professor describing Edgar as being a character from the Brother Karamazov. Staples asked which one because all of them but one were bad, Edgar said he forgot. A bit later Staples told us her favorite book was Crime and Punishment and also she was in a Shakespeare play when she was in high school, a Midsummer Night’s Dream like I was. She played both Snug and Tom Snout due to actor shortages despite the fact that they appear extensively together, I played Francis Flute only. She ended up leaving and I continued to work. I had 2 cups of coffee and then the Ukrainian man came back to talk with Edgar about something. I went on my phone and just at that moment Seth M came over to talk to me about something, nothing important thankfully. I went up to the front and the receptionist asked me if I could find any tape better than what she had at her desk. I went to this former employee’s office and got some clear tape and put that up along with the bus map I got. It worked much better than expected. I went to lunch to eat a pizza slice and drink a Sprite Cranberry. I got back and continued writing in my blog until my 30 minutes was up. When I was at work. Zach A came in for a short time and then left. I went over to help Mrauku get back into his computer because he locked himself out again. I tried to tell him his computer was unlocked but he was gone for a doctor’s appointment or something. I was able to tell Mrauku about the issue later. I talked to the Latinx lady about my time off request and she told me:
“I’ll get to it today.”
I took her word on it. I went out at 2:20pm and walked to the used book store downtown. I had to load more money into my checking along the way and tried using SuperLocalMaps but it apparently just reset my entire progress, what the fuck. I got in and browsed for books to grab. I had to shop for my cousin Jared but I needed to get some other stuff for my dad’s side of the family. I got the following:
My mom; a framed map of Ireland:
1766207816167.jpeg
My dad; The Encyclopedia of Chicago:
1766207816217.jpeg
My sister; Metropolitan Railways, Rapid Transit in America by William D. Middleton:
1766207816272.jpeg
My grandma Jane; the four volume set of The Lives of The Painters by John Canaday (It actually cost me around $24 not $40.00
1766207816329.jpeg
My grandpa; The Meateater Fish and Game Cookbook by Steve Rinella:
1766207816371.jpeg
The total came out to be $83 and it was a lot to carry. Thankfully I caught the bus on time. I dropped all my stuff off back at home. James was at home and I got back on the bus shortly. I took it all the way to the mall and checked the shopping list:
<Jared list 2025
<Gap relaxed black hoodie or zipper with logo (m)
<Nike zoom vomero 5 (white/cream SE or regular white) size 10
<Fast food gift cards (dominos, subway, Uber Eats)
<Kiwi Cadenza IEMs (any color)
<iPhone 16 pro screen protectors
<Money for big cause
<Okay I made a list

When I got off, I overheard this guy asking about a bus line I took for fun and when the bus was coming, he was Black and complained about the Black bus driver of another bus not telling him. I showed him it was 5 minutes and he said to me:
"You see me, A White man can tell me when the next bus is but not a Black bus driver? Thank you man!"
I talked a bit and waved goodbye. I got the screen protector first from the Apple Store by a guy named Brian and set myself back $42. I walked to the Nike store and asked about the shoes he wanted and they cost $170.00. I skipped on that and went to Target to buy the giftcard. I genuinely think UberEats is demonic and the world would be better off without it so I bought Jared a Subway gift card instead. I also got myself a thing of sparkling apple cider (non-alcoholic) and cook-able udon noodles. I took the bus home and then started on the noodles. I cooked it in a small pot with an oversized glass lid. Once I cooked that I had some apple cider in a mason jar and took the lid to the sink to cool it with water I almost cracked it. I had a text conversation with Lizzo about this girl who she followed that followed me:
>Context?
<What?
>She followed me and you follow her so I guess you know who she is?
<She's just a girl from one of my classes
>Which class?
<I think it's sex and power
>What's that?
<A class
>About what?
<I am being so fr fn
<Sex and power and how they interact in society
<It's literally the name

>What's sex?
<Thats what we were tryna figure out
>What an inefficient professor.
>Can't teach their class what sex is.

<I think it's more on a philosophical level and philosophy never has answers
>Sounds like my friend the Honduran who said he’s the Dionysian ideal of a platonic man and I told him to get a job.
<The Honduran sounds interesting
>The Honduran is interesting, I see him at Tuesday dinners.
<The Honduran does seem like a man on a tuesday
>Dinner
I went back to gaming and writing and got that done. At 8:38pm, tears started to swell up in my eyes while reading the Wikipedia page for the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing perpetrator Timothy McVeigh. I got some pictures of my nice cat from my sister’s friend who once had heart issues. I took a shower and went to sleep.

December 19th, 2025: Final day of working for the weekend. I woke up at 6:30am and got cereal for breakfast before I had to go out and take the bus to work. It was much colder than yesterday despite there being no new snow. I was wearing my brown leather jacket and regular work outfit and waited for the bus before getting on and off. I walked into work and brewed more sreal womang coffee by adding extra grounds. I got myself an extremely sreal womang cup of coffee and poured one of Edgar’s drink mixes in to enhance it. I had to go to the bathroom then head back. Edgar was complaining about the coffee being sreal womang again… Zach A came back and we hugged and he went into his office. I overheard some conversation between Elon and Zarith C asking her how old she turns tomorrow. She said 40. Seth M tasked me with creating a new form for the volunteers to keep track of their computers. I did that quite fast and sent it to him. I saw that the time off request for next week and January and found out it wasn’t approved. The Latinx lady was out of the office today so I told Seth M about it and he got it approved with the Latinx lady. Seth M posted his updated version of the check request form so I had to redo my entire thing now with less than a full day’s of work. I went to lunch at the pizza place and this volunteer told me she goes to the same college as me and is in the same graduating class. I went back and continued writing. Tia finally sent me 14 of the 15 names of the interpreters she had wanted me to print cards for, Liseuxa being one of them. 2 were missing pictures and I got to work. I gave them all to Tia. While I was walking to the bathroom. Seth M’s friend stopped and asked me what my second time off thing was for. I told him I’m going to Columbus, Ohio, but I didn’t mention what for exactly. I got reserved for a holiday work party. I left at 2:30pm and took the bus home. I lounged around for quite a while until I started getting packing. I said bye to James the Greater at 4:30pm when I took the bus over wearing a warmer jacket. I got there and while wheeling my suitcase, the wheel on one side fell off multiple times. I had caesar salad and Monster energy for dinner and at 5:19pm I checked my ticket to make sure it’s the correct when I noticed something. The from and to locations were mixed up. I had the option to buy the 6:00pm ticket but I first tried rescheduling the ticket only to see it was too late. Buying a 6:00pm came up useless as the option disappeared so I had no other option but to wait until 8:45pm. I snapchatted Vannie about it and she was kind of neutral, her sister I accused her of cheating on Cara with was there and I learned her middle name. I saw the television in the bus station playing Goodfellas while I waited. I posted on my Instagram story about missing the bus and then Laundrea replied to me starting a long conversation: <Oof. Would I be able to help at all/would it be wanted?
>Can you drive me all the way from [where I live] to [where I was born]?
<That is quite the drive 🥲 I was envisioning somewhere closer to Waukesha (where I am currently)
>Oh. I’m currently at the [bus stop]...
<Yeah 🥲 I'm sorry
<[gif of woman putting cardboard box on her head.]

>Why the box?
<Ashamed/embarassed of self
<Normally I would, but I wouldn't be getting back to [city] until not long before that time anyway 😮‍💨

>that time?
<8:45. The time you're waiting until.
>What are you doing?
<I'm at my sister's former in-laws for dinner (is a weekly thing)
>What?
>Why hang out with your ex-husband and his family every week?

<For her kid/co-parenting
>Ohhhh
>In Waukesha right?

<Ye
>Is the food at least good?
<Yes. It's always good.
>What kind?
<Today was mini tacos. Twas good
>Why not mega tacos?
<Because those tortillas don't fit in a solid container to stay warm.
>Get a bigger container…
<Not my place. Not my rule. Not my place to complain.
> 1766327018259.png
>Buy them one for Christmas…

<If they wanted one they would get one.
<Tis one of those things that could be seen as condescending.

>😢
>They won’t be able to get bigger tacos.
>Maybe they’ve always wanted one but can’t afford it?

<They def can. Lol
>What was in the mini tacos though?
<It was make your own. They provided lettuce, olives, tomatoes, onions, ground beef and rice (tis shitoko but idc what with)
>And you had all of them on yours?
<Not all. Tomatoes don't agree with my stomach... which is rude because I like them 😭
>What happened with your stomach?
<Raw/fresh tomatoes make my stomach upset plus other not comfy things. Tis very rude
>Do you have any medical conditions?
<Yuup. Pretty sure/I know I have hypermobile joints, etc., so effectively I've been existing wrong by moving wrong which has resulted in chronic pain since I was 13 (not taken seriously or looked into until last year)
<Basically my joints don't sit right so positions that are bad for joint health legitimately feel more comfortable in the moment and are very difficult to unlearn

>Ehler-Danos syndrome?
>My best guess.

<That's my guess too, but not many doctors recognize the conditions legitimacy. Not to mention that there is still more testing and research to determine genetic identifying markers. (Of which only one type usually as)
<Getting diagnosed isn't a one size fits all and the only tests are on flexibility (which isn't accurate for those that do stuff like yoga and gymnastics or otherwise stretch regularly) and genetic testing which still doesn't yeild definite, consistent results

>So you hadn’t had genetic testing, and do you do yoga?
<Nope and nope
<Searching and working out how to get tested by someone who knows what EDS is was going to be the next on my to-do list. But college happened.
<So that is on pause... indefinitely as of rn

>Why can’t you get genetic testing in college?
<Classes, homework and work take up regular business hours during the regular semester. Outside of that I seriously have to go through my things and donate or recycle whatever I don't actually want to keep.
<Also lots of phone calls and navigating insurance 😭 (social/general anxiety)

>Are you alone for scheduling appointments now?
<I have been for a long time (which lead me to not doing it because I did have access to the information to see what kinds of appointments were covered and which doctors were in network)
<I just kept up with therapy and psychiatry... the dentist and eye doctor where made by my parents because I... nope, nu-uh.

>When was your last doctor’s appointment?
<My last appt with a pcp was... like January or February.
>Ok good!
<Despite my chronic pain, I'm doing fine health wise (keep in mind I'm used to constantly being in pain so I'm able function well most days)
<It also take a lot to get me sick. So I lucked out on my immune system for sure

>But not your nervous system Laundrea?
<Hahaha Nope
<Literal decades of stress/dysregulation
<I think with where I'm at in therapy, that I'm regulating pretty well. Hopefully, this means that the stress overload won't start degrading my immune system as well 😅

>Therapy for your nervous system?
<Pschotherapy
<Because I'm ✨️mentally ill✨️

>How’s it different from regular therapy?
<I guess it isn't. But mental health is very much related to regulation of the nervous system.
<Just in more ways than what immediately makes sense.

>How so?
<Anxiety is a dysregulation of the flee response. Having to deal with it constantly can come with shakiness, unsteady movements, hyperventilating, dizziness, tunnel vision, etc., which raises the cortisol level in the body. Depression preys more on the interpersonal aspects of lacking the desire or motivation to socialize, irritability towards others, and isolation, taking away one of the biggest avenues of regulation being talking it out and receiving comfort and care for those around you.

December 19th, 2025 [continued]:
It was 8:45pm at this point and now the bus started to depart with very few people on it. Which did little to expedite the trip. I still had to deal with a bloody nose and tiredness. Here’s the rest of the conversation with Laundrea:
<Not to mention CPTSD and Borderline Personality Disorder which just makes those two things worse with flashbacks and splits.
>Wait what’s CPTSD? I keep hearing it but forgot what it actually is.
<Complex PTSD. Essentially, it is PTSD that is formed from prolonged or repeated trauma (regardless of big or small 't')
<For me, it's from emotional neglect, not feeling safe with my parents, and not really feeling like I had a safe space in my own home since not long after I started being able to remember things (just after I turned 4)

>Ohhh I’m so sorry you weren’t able to grow up in a safe home.
<It is what it is. At least my parents are kinda sorta listening to me now when I explain to them why I don't trust people. (I'm open about my experiences... but actual trust is... a struggle even for my siblings)
>You don’t trust your siblings or your siblings can’t really trust other people.
<Me trust them.
<Tis a complicated dynamic

>Ohhhhh. I kind of trust my sister.
<My trust my siblings in that I trust my enby sibling to push my boundaries, my middle sister to be judgemental as hell, and my eldest sister to provide half-way good advice about adulting while mentally ill.
>Adulting is an extremely Millenial term.
<I'm a zillenial so meh
>Oh yeah you’re 27…
<26
<Was born in '99 so take the last two digits of the year and add one

>I feel dumb bruh…
<Your good lmao
>What if I’m neutral?
<Neutral is also good/okay
>Understood?
<If one is used to being mean to themself, trying to snap to being positive/nice is unrealistic and often counterproductive
>Snap as in Snapchat?
<No. Snap as in quick switch from one thing to another.
<(Like a split for BPD, but more situational)

>Oh…. Wait do you have a Snapchat?
>Has the snap technique worked well for you?

<I do have snapchat, but I only use it to talk to my sibling and their spouse really.
<And no.
<If fact it was entirely counterproductive in that is was acheiving the exact opposite of what was intended.
<(Cue the toxic positivity laden self affirmations)

>What about toxic neutrality?
<I think that's a weird state of nihilism
>Are you nihilistic?
<Kinda? More pessimistic realist. But it also depends on what the situation is.
<Involving myself? Depressive realist. Involving others? Optimist. Involving politics? Depends on the specific topic, but generally realistic/hopeful

>I’m more optimistic in things.
<That's lucky! I unfortunately operate on evidence based thinking for myself (hence why I'm a depressive realist when it comes to things involving myself)
>How can I help bruh?
<That is why I'm in therapy. I need to process what I've experienced and learn to let it inform things, but not rule my life which it currently does.
>I haven’t seen my therapist in a while though.
<If you don't need assistance in processing things or learning healthier coping tools, I'd say that that's good.
>I just don’t feel like anything productive is going on during those sessions.
<Then maybe a few sessions are needed or a differen therapist is needed.
<I only started making progress until I starting seeing my current therapist two years ago. Once we got to know each other and what my baseline was, it became clear that my previous therapists where just slapping bandaids on situations that needed more thorough care.

>Where is your therapist?
<I go to Ellie Mental Health in Hales Corners. But I see my therapist virtually.
<I'm also pretty sure that she isn't accepting new clients atm.

>Bruh that’d take me forever…
<I've been seeing my therapist weekly for two years soo...
>To get there.
<I'm also pretty self aware so it helped to explain my experience and then what I know hasn't helped so what could help can be more easily identified.
>I just suddenly feel calm whenever I go to therapy and forget my problems.
<That is a form a shutting down which is a response to protect yourself. However, it is being an issue here instead of a help
<So doing a session or two virtually may yield different results.

>I just feel more like I forget them.
<That is fair. Then it's good to make note of things you want to discuss in the moment.
>Ok got it Laundrea!
I got off and walked over to the spot my dad was to pick me up by this bar, we drove home and discussed this one camping class he took in college and him going to DePaul university. I got back and said hi to my mom. I took my presents out of my suitcase and hid them in my bedroom as I went to the basement to put my laundry in the bins. My sister was off in North Carolina visiting her boyfriend. I had the nice cat up in my room as I took a shower and went to sleep.

December 20th, 2025: Back at home. I woke up really late due to staying up until 3:00am (not my choice) and crawled out of bed. I went downstairs and saw my parents were up but still in bed. I asked my mom if we could all have pancakes for breakfast and then winked at my dad, my mom noticed and she made the pancakes. They were smaller than usual because she cooked them all at once. I went back upstairs to game mostly and write. I was called down to make a delivery to Addison’s house at 10:30am so at 10:33am I texted Addison:
>I’m heading over to drop off some food.
I got in the car and drove there to give their chickens/our old chickens the food. Their new shed is now up as compared to a concrete base the last time I saw it. No cars were home so I just dropped off the food and then went home. I wrote more until I watched the new trailer for Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, Steel Ball Run. I was extremely hyped for March now. I had some spinach pasta spaghetti for lunch. I continued writing and watched some more YouTube. At 4:40pm, I went out to one old building my father was turning into an apartment to see his progress. He showed me work on the shower and then asked me how much I’d pay for this if I was going to live there.
“$500 a month.”
I said.
“Don’t be ridiculous!”
My dad snapped back. I told him I wasn’t including utilities and was concerned about the low square footage of the apartment. My dad thought $1,000 a month including utilities. He gave me a box of Mike & Ikes. I saw on Instagram that not only did Enosh’s 2 sisters run a half marathon, but Enosh’s mom turned 55 today. I went inside and hung out upstairs until 6:00pm when it was dinner time. Addison joined us for lentil soup and custom made bread. I had the soup and it looked ugly. A disgusting shade of green gruel with chunks of ham. I ate it and my dad gave me a tiny slice of bread while he got the heel as always. Drinks were some white wine that my mom and Addison were having but less than either of them was having. I stayed downstairs with them until 7:10pm when the Packers vs Bears game started and we all had tea. Addison told me Aaron is working in New Mexico which is why he couldn’t join us. At one point during Aaron’s work in New Mexico, he brought home a ton of cookie dough he made through TSA and got questioned extensively over it. He was allowed to take it home. I drank some tea with them and had their cookies. I went back upstairs to write more and eat my small box of Mike & Ikes. I wrote more and at this point started feeling sick like I was about to throw up. I took a shower and didn’t throw up at all. I got out and still felt like throwing up, I tried burping and that didn’t do anything, neither did drinking some ginger beer. I went to the bathroom and then waited for a bit to feel nothing. I then deliberately tried to make a gag motion and then I threw up again, 6 times into the toilet. I felt so much better except for the vomit in my nostrils which I had to get out. The last time I had the same lentil soup was a few years ago, I threw up. I went to sleep.

December 21st, 2025: Home today. I texted my mom at 12:36am:
>I just threw up.
And I drank some water to help me recover. I actually felt better instantly instead of having the stomach bug where you constantly throw up even if you drink something like water. I remember the last time I had the stomach bug in 8th grade, I spent it in my parents bed (without them, not gonna pass it onto others) watching 12 Years A Slave and remembered absolutely nothing about the film. I felt better and went to sleep. I woke up at 8:00am and had some cereal for breakfast. I got upstairs and went back to gaming but I realized church was at 9:00am. I got dressed in a long-sleeved striped yellow button-up and dress pants, I didn’t wear a belt yet my pants fit well. I sat towards the right of the church and I didn’t see Xebec’s family at all. The priest gave a homily about the gospel reading and I went up and noticed a woman from the Eucharistic adoration I’d sometimes go to on Thursdays. When we got out I made my way over to her and I said hi. She was with her mom and I told her how we knew each other and then made our way to the parking lot, but it turned out that we parked with 1 space in between us and she and her mom waved to me again, I waved back. I got out and drove home the way I came passed the graveyard and when I got back my mom was glad to see me. I saw her with a gigantic pot of chocolate malt-o-meal and some leftovers that she had me take over to Addison’s house. I drove over and scooped out the gruel for their chickens and then went inside. I was let in and I got to see Addison, their cat Marmelade, and their new guinea pig. She was all alone and I know you shouldn’t do that with guinea pigs but apparently Ace had 2 guinea pigs and there was some deal about Addison’s son Ace taking them. I didn’t know but Addison put the guinea pig on my chest as Marmalade hopped up onto my lap and she took a picture of both of them. They didn’t fight thankfully and I left with the empty pot to take it home. I got back and went upstairs to go on my phone and laptop a lot. But I found that my mom had cleaned my room and found the laptop. Thankfully she said nothing about it and I just used it more. At 10:19am I sent Agaw these messages:
>Funny story I forgot to tell you.
>Remember the [church]’s dance and that woman who I showed the guy sitting in the chairs to with you
>Yeah well I met her and 2 other women there at a speed dating event.
>I got matched with none of them there.
>It was super awkward (the super tall woman and her friend were the other two).

I had some more spaghetti for lunch with my dad. I went back upstairs until at 1:54pm. Quoc called me asking if his friend could store something in our apartment. It’s also his birthday today and he turns 23. So I wished him a happy birthday. I went back to browsing KiwiFarms and at 2:09pm Agaw replied to me and I replied back:
<Oh dang. That is a little awkward😀
<What’s speed dating like? I’ve never been to one but I’ve always been curious about the dynamic.

>Basically you get moved between tables and have time to connect.
>There were more men than women and 2 women didn’t show up.

I did nothing until 3:42pm when the conversation continued:
<That sounds so much healthier than tinder. Props to Catholics 👏👏👏
<I wish there were more Catholic women. I have so many friends who talk about their difficult relationships and I feel like I’m constantly shouting “just go to a church!! The good men are over here!!😭😭”

>It didn’t work bruh.
>I thought there was slightly more Catholic women than men.
>Although that’s not factoring out grannies.
>Tell me more.

Later on my parents said they were going over to Addison’s house for their sauna. They invited me but I said no; however, they had me stir some veggie soup leftovers once every 10 minutes. I did that but forgot it some times and set the timer a bit late. At 6:15pm Agaw finally responded back:
<Well, there are a lot guys who wander the earth with no sense of anything greater. I’ve dated a handful of guys who let their vices guide every decision they made, and I’d watch their lives crumble as they realized it didn’t lead them anywhere good (I also made this painful realization prior to attending church). I’ve noticed that Catholic men tend to have more respect towards women, sreal womanger character, and just a sreal womanger sense of what they’re living for. Yet many of my friends are still dating guys who mistreat them, and I’m hoping they’ll eventually see that Catholic dating can be much more fulfilling. But, unfortunately, Catholicism is often wrongly associated with misogyny and control. So it’s hard to get a lot of women into church.
<Yeeeaaah. I feel like regardless of the cultural community, men are going to have a much harder time finding partners. It’s pretty brutal out there for you guys.

>Yeah I’ve never heard anything misogynistic out of the men’s mouths at the Catholic center.
<I haven’t either. The Catholic community is full of wonderful folks, and I especially admire all the people we have at the Catholic center.
My parents came back and asked me why I hadn’t had dinner yet so I served myself a bowl. It tasted ok. I went back upstairs and I then heard my sister come in later. I went downstairs to do the eye cover thing and we hugged. The mean cat was in bed with my parents and was sitting smugly. I went upstairs to take a shower and go to sleep.

December 22nd, 2025: Another day of nothing today. I woke up pretty late and had cereal for breakfast. I got myself a large cup of coffee and went upstairs to write on my computer more. I stayed upstairs for a good portion of the day and wrote more. I wanted to go into the office because it’s the only place I could use a monitor for the Roblox computer. My sister was in there doing work. I thought it was interesting to see her maps up. I didn’t touch it while she was out. I went back into my room and continued to talk with Agaw over Instagram:
<I haven’t either. The Catholic community is full of wonderful folks, and I especially admire all the people we have at the center.
>Yes I’m sad to go next semester.
I browsed it some more and found out that people are finding out how to uncensor the censored text in the Epstein documents. I remember seeing a Vice News report on failing to black out documents by the government and how to do it. I thought the Vice News was being a snitch. I continued browsing Instagram and found out Lewis’ girlfriend’s older brother turns 27 today. I have never met this guy before but I’m saving this data. I continued to go on my phone and browse KiwiFarms. Lunch was with my family and it tasted pretty good, no need to vomit it up later After a while my sister left because she was going to spend the night at these two young boys she sometimes babysits for but hasn’t as much. My parents then decided that we should go to this new Mexican place that opened up. The spot for the Mexican place was infamous for being a poor investment and constantly going out of business, last time I checked it was a diner that my mechanic friend from middle school’s mom worked at, but the diner moved a short distance nearby. We then got ready to go as I warmed up the car. We drove over and ordered drinks, I ordered a 12oz pina colada and my dad criticized me slightly for getting such a small one, saying I wasted their efforts. I then checked through the menu to see if they had cow tongue, dad told me a story about his mom packing him cow tongue sandwiches in his lunch a lot when he was growing up, other kids would have it sometimes and my mom reported on it but not as frequently. I brought up the first time we went to Denver, Colorado for spring break with Adams coming along to meet Alexander and Margarethe and getting them from a taco place near their house. I loved it. Mom told me the story of her uncle Johnny, now he was my mom’s mom’s sister and he came over from Ireland with my mom’s dad as a sponsor in the mid 1960s, she said that he was called to be drafted while living in Denver, Colorado and when he got there, he pretended to speak only Irish, and because they didn’t have an Irish interpreter on hand, they didn’t call him to go to war. When our waitress came over to take our order, I asked if they had cow tongue products and she looked at me weird and said:
“I’ll uhh go ask and see if we sell it.”
She left and I laughed. She came back and told me it was under its Spanish name. I got the tacos and loved them. My dad’s fajitas came out sizzling. We ate and then ordered desserts. My mom’s flan had to be redone because the waitress forgot to flip it over. I had the fried ice cream and it was hard to tear apart and eat. My dad had some and liked it. We eventually left and drove home. I took a shower once I got back and went to sleep.
