why do modern animators have the shittiest music taste

i think to add on top of everything i have noticed while being around people more that younger kids around 13 & below make weird sex jokes a lot now im not trying to moralcaca too hard because i wasn't oblivious to all that either at a young age but i do find it quite odd how many there are making those jokes compared to when i was younger & it was kind of rare for the most part at least for where i lived at the time its just kind of odd how average people dont really point stuff like that out but im sure if they said anything racist or homophobic they'd go into a piss rage & tell them they cant say that & to think some of these people have the gall to say younger people are le ruined generation or whatever but not see that its kind of weird that small children are making jokes about jacking off & epstein but ig people would rather have some sort of easy morally correct thing to say than to point something out that is a problem because thats a lot more work than actually taking note of something happening

Writing is such an easy thing to get into and it won't be hard to find a good writer or someone who wants their novel animated

Because they don't have a captivating personality that appeals to social media. Their pitch doesn't include visually colourful characters; it includes literary colourful characters, and that's not good enough.
It's totally possible, though, to pitch a show without being an animator yourself, though I haven't seen it done in the indie world as of yet.
Speaking of which, these artists are complete amateurs. On top of being inept writers, they're also mediocre at character design and other core traits that make somebody in the animation good at what they do. I think a lot of this has to do with the fact that they haven't gone to an animation school and derive all their inspiration from whatever shit they see online. I'm not saying art/animation school isn't a scam, but the one benefit is learning from industry veterans who can teach you things you wouldn't learn anywhere else. Because the industry is built on the veterans. You might have these newer names like Alex Hirsch or whoever the fuck, but it's people like Robert Alvarez who sync up the frames, each individually.

i always found it funny how my parents complain about me somehow being a tiktok brained child that can never think or whatever despite me for most of my life always overthinking & having entire conversations with myself in my head ig it is somewhat partly my fault because they have no clue what kind of person i am so they just automatically think im like everyone else just more shut in ig when it could not be more different its always funny how my mom is kind of oblivious to the world in some regard & makes jokes at it by asking "is thing tiktok trend" as if i would know when i dont even know what half of the things my peers would talk about at any point in my lifetime

Now that I'm thinking about it, I've heard people online say that that Wastelandia cartoon is trying too hard to be an updated version of this one pilot from well over twenty years ago called A Kitty Bobo Show. I wouldn't know; I haven't seen either of them.
