>Sorry ribbon. If it makes you feel better, it was never in the creepy sexual way and I would genuinely want to form a healthy relationship with you. But I'm not the man for this task.

Baqqrih's Journal

I thought tonight that it'd be about time I remake my old, little journal thread of the Shlog from months prior on here. Miscellaneous writings, writings of my life experiences, or other oddities of my fascinations will be posted in here. "Random thoughts," in brief.

Today, I met a lady my age who is from Okinawa. I was eating at a local establishment after school with a friend when she rolled in alone and asked if she could sit down with us (which we accepted, of course, because it's not every day that a Jap just rolls into town and asks to sit down for lunch with you. Wonder if that's more normal there than here). Apparently, she's a foreign exchange student at another, larger high school that's a bit of a drive away, and she was in my area for the evening to visit a friend of hers. Real kind, soft-spoken girl. We talked a bit about her home with her and then, at her request, me and my friend gave our contact information to her, too.

What's neat is that the buddy I was sitting with actually visited Japan over the summer, so that provided a lot more depth to our conversation. If my memory isn't failing me, I think today was the first time I've actually met a Japanese person, and, at that, an Okinawan. I have a few acquaintances who are ethnically Chinese or Vietnamese, but beyond them, I haven't see very many Orientals around here, let alone non-citizens.
thats... interesting. she wanted you bad

I really miss the level of "life" that was on the 2023 'party (it was when I started posting so obviously I'm biased in thinking of it as a cool time for the site). For as much terrible crap that happened during some parts of that year, it seems like nearly every day there was also some really neat thing happening, too (as you can read all about here). The Baby Bot, the Kolyma LARP during the last days of Kuzist control, all of the 4cuck GET steals, the Doll AMAs, the Poopson prophecies, the fifty board plan, FNAC, Snarky Snappy, 60 pizzas, the attempt at a merch store, Operation 9/11, there was just so much entertaining stuff.

Also, eugh, I was looking at old, archived threads, and you guys need to see how I typed back when I was, like, a freshman or sophomore in high school. In this thread, I was the wordy guy who kept using exclamation points and talking like a flamboyant cousin of Spongebob, asking Doll how his dinner was and whatnot. Looking back on it, I must've sounded like such a cacaot, by golly (remove the space in the link):

>Oh, and Dolly Doll!
a man with a beard and red eyes is holding a baby in his arms .
Cringing so hard at that statement that my eyes almost hurt
I'm also the one who posted the vocaroo in that thread. Hearing my younger voice sounds real strange. Fun to look back on, though.

Finally, something interesting happened that has again led me to write in this thing. A very short heifer from my school (also a clear-cut, classic "SJW" leftist from what I know of her; I actually thought she was a lesbian at first) is trying to flirt with me in my Instagram DMs because I liked a story she posted that was just a picture of the sunset. I'm trying to brush her off kindly and it's harder than it sounds. She said I seem like a sweet guy and I just said "aw, thank you, I appreciate that," but now she's still going further with random chat-stuff.

I haven't spoken to this lady in, like, three years (didn't even remember her name until she started following my account), and when I last talked to her, it was about our scores on a math test, I'm pretty sure. She looks a bit like Ron Perlman. I've already contacted my closest friend about this to get advice on how to not hurt her feelings since he's more experienced at this stuff than I am, but man, how unexpected is it that the one lady who hits me up (I'm not interested in dating at all anymore) is this chick? Last year I asked out the greatest girl I've ever known, we eventually had to go separate ways, and now, when I get asked out, it's my old girl's polar opposite. Jeez Louise.

This is an anecdote I previously wrote in another thread about a personal friend of mine before I realized "well, this isn't really on-topic for that thread, anyway," as it turned out that I had a lot more to write than I thought, so I'll post it here, instead, to not toss the writing away.

There is one guy I know IRL who I have been hanging out with very often these past few weeks because he's almost always free to hang out with unlike a lot of my other dear friends, but that's really because he's what I'll call a local businessman who deals in substances of a psychoactive nature (he is still formally employed as well but his hours there are quite lax), and while he's actually very pleasant to talk to and box outside with whenever the weather's nice (been a little rainy recently), I also prefer not to accompany him during his business hours very often because there always ends up being some feller I knew from school who'll turn up to buy a weed vape from him only to see me and look all "huh" after catching sight of me chilling in the car, so on nights like this where he's dilly-dally-dealing, I tend to stay home rather than tag along with him just because I'd rather not have a rumor spread around that's like:
[htsm] >yo wagwan mi brudda, yuh knoe dat boy baqqrih be in de business wit dat yung dope pusha, yuh hear bout dat?
[smugjak] >Ah, so that's what he's doing after graduation, and already, man. I always knew he'd get wrapped up in the wrong crowd. What a shame, another one of our brightest youth lost to drugs. And... actually... it's giving me the ick. [sickened] I mean, only minorities should be selling drugs, so honestly, it's cultural appropriation if he is doing it too.
Like, folk would probably believe that about me, so it's better to avoid being present at such dealings to avoid that, I would think. Still, I appreciate the company of that substance-slinging amigo (he's Mexican), so on nights like the past few where he's stagnant in his little apartment eating dinner with his girl, I like to spend my evenings there just kicking back for a bit, enjoying some good food when it's offered, and talking of recent happenings with my pal. The man's an excellent storyteller.
