Ah, I remember hearing about that months ago. I barely used the store on my ps vita anyway, as I only downloaded a touhou theme that was free there, so it's not a big loss (unless you're a consumer slut and never want to pirate vidyas on a console that barely anyone truly uses nowadays)

I can't even log into psn on my ps3 because it's on a homebrew version and it asks requires me to (((update it))) to connect. So really nothing was lost
At least that makes sense to be upset over as Microsoft still gets pissy when you try to mod your 360 even though they show no interest in giving you any sort of legal option for obtaining any delisted content

until in 10 years when they come up with the ps3 BLACKED edition, which costs 4000 dollars and looks like a ps3 but actually has ps5 hardware and can only play brave and stunning games like forspoken and dragon age: veilguard. And also remotely lock every existing original ps3 to force people to buy it under some bullshit legal jewish magic justification.
speaking of that thing i'd just like to say it's kinda ridiculous how the steam deck is over $700 now
it wasn't even really worth its price before the price increase compared to any other alternative unless the thing was on sale
if it doesn't lock the discs behind the internet like the cuckstation 5 does with its disc drive that requires internet connection then this is actually a really good feature i still wouldn't buy an xbox for this but im glad if stuff like this becomes a standard from now on
