fuck i had an idea but i forgotLet me think
This gave me an idea. What if we organized homeless drug addict tournaments like in an arena where they're given weapons like pipes, knifes or broken glass bottles and the winner gets heroin. Kinda like gladiator games of the modern era.Fighting or dealing with homeless folks might be beneficial in gaining more street smarts
I'd vastly prefer to endure the loud, chaotic nature of freedom rather than live in a sanitized, surveilled, and conforming society. Now in spite of this, the existing systems—military, courts, and police—are all so embedded into the modern world that they can't be simply shed. This is why I've always leaned towards Minarchist lines of thought, but you clearly aren't interested in finding a middle ground. The inherent nature of freedom may not create thriving societies on a large scale, but in small groups of like-minded individuals, it can blossom genuine innovation and joy for all involved. Yet, for every small community moving to the hills to live sustainably and off the grid, there’s another group raping in the streets. Once more, Minarchism draws a clear line in the sands of freedom with the persistence of law inforcement and the courts but as to not sound like a shill I'll zip it. Interesting perspective though, is cohesion truly worth it if for the sake of those just not made to stick, harmless or otherwise? Is the persistence of the collective herd truly beneficial to the sheep themselves on an individual level? Is the shepherd truly just in his decisions when so many of the sheep want nothing more then to wander and feed from the land? Does the shepherd have the right to restrain the sheep even if it's for their own subjective good in the mind of the shepherd?Too much freedom is a bad thing. Civilization exists because people are forced to fit in and be a part of the system. When you give people absolute freedom to do whatever, what would happen is that there would be no system, just a chaotic mess with no rhyme or reason. Look at today at how there are so many freaks and it's because there is no pressure. You see open krampuses nowadays, people who play Blue Archive, and there are zero social consequences for them
I'm not advocating for a dictatorship because that's also bad. I'm also not saying there should be a middle ground because people should be free, but not completely free. People need to fall in so society so everything is cohesive and not a diddy party
This is why farmers markets won.Bread is not bad, the problem is the storebought crap.
Modern technology makes freedom impossible. You are either a slave to criminals, a slave to corporations, or a slave to the government. If things became less secular i could see it working, but that's unlikely to ever happen. This is obviously why we need to collectively send gifts to universities or however the unibomber is arrestedI'd vastly prefer to endure the loud, chaotic nature of freedom rather than live in a sanitized, surveilled, and conforming society. It's really weird, because as technology improves self sufficiency should be easeierModern technology makes freedom impossible.
