Is Escapism... LE BAD!?

I belive that pushing ascetism (= having less physical attachments) is good for the future because main problems in our world comes from people desiring something in a physical form. The more ascetic people are the more they would want to dedicate themselfs for pure things which are enjoying making or observing art. I think this is our ultimate goal to get stripped away from anything physical to become like pure intelligence entity that recives pure form of enjoyment in either creation or observation of creations.
Tho for now in your local life recreational drug use won't give you any negatives if you do it right like you said, but it just pushes away the goal basically.
despite me agreeing on humans needing to be less physically attached to a lot of stuff. i dont think there would even be a goal to make or observe art if we did not have any physical attachment. there's a grave difference between physical obsession and enjoyment in something tangible such as drugs or most commonly noobweed. having these physical attachments help in the creation of art as we humans need something to distract us with. art is an expression of our experiences or simply fiction that resides in our imagination, but at the end of the day art resides more in experiences that we have lived as beings.
either way there's a lot of cases where drugs (again most commonly noobweed) has helped in the act of art creation, and so have the sorrows of being addicted to other substances. because art can display very much every expression and emotion. and thats why we humans enjoy it

>you can do drugs, just dont get addicted to them bro

Yeah if we talk more about this I think this is a problem too because generally every drug makes your dopamine production be 100 times more effective than anything you can experience in your life which will ultimately lead you to taking them regularly
People who recover from hard drug use experience that shit I think it called like dopamine pit or something when you quit drugs literally nothing gets you happy and you basically is depressed for a really long time until the system get back it's balance

its easier than you think, really just dont fall into shit such as coke meth or pills.
being a stoner is a hundred times better than being a crackhead, and you'll eventually get bored of being a stoner too because it strips the motivation
ive met people who do pot once a week every weekend and they live happier than most normies and happier than probably all of us

Honestly I found out that majority of actually creative art was created without any drugs or by people that never tried them...
I agree that it can positively affect it and i've seen examples of that but I belive that in majority of cases they isn't because people would just trip out and won't want to do anything, especially considering noobweed mainly known for making people feel that way

its not about it being easy or hard, its about giving monkey an ak47, why do you think its safe to let normnoobs access severe mind-altering drugs in hopes they wont seek a greater high out of sheer interest and lack of self dignity? the modern world is shaped to make normgroids a grey consumerist biomass that lack any self image, this is not the type of people that can be given the privilege of drug access

you shouldnt label every drug as that, obviously there's a BIG difference between doing weed once a week and doing crack once a week.
despite both levelling your dopamine production to the skies someone who does pot once a week will be seen as more logical, reasonable and even happier person.

i sound like a fed but really weed is amazing when in moderation with a healthy schedule. on an addiction basis it just makes you forget everything and lose motivation. but its not that hard to leave that addiction basis because the thing with weed is it just makes you be not aware, it feels like a nightmare not being aware 24/7.

well yes but most creative art was also made with experiences from actual situations from those beings, my point still applies.

it depends on how you get high, when i get high on hash (or literally most cannabinoids) i get a surge of motivation and emotion. i seek to actually do stuff, i try to draw and despite my state of mind not being in the correct act to actually do it correctly. once im back and staring at those scratches i made on paper it gives me even more motivation to actually try. its not just drawing either, ive ridden my brother's bike high and God you dont know how amazing it was to see the streets pass while the wind flowed in my face

touché on the normgroid part. but us actual reasonable and logical beings could still enjoy these experiences without altering it into something such as an addiction to shooting up your arms

i actually even believe you could do harsher drugs if you are reasonable and logical enough. but thats a dangerous territory to step on so obviously most harsh drugs i tried i only did once or twice

experiences from actual situations
The thing is we live in the age where there is already every situation possible presented and represented so you kinda only need to be aware of all of this things and not necessarily interact with them directly which I think already applies since a lot of creative people don't have interesting lives, and majority of them got their creativity by growing up on the internet which is evident considering majority of people become normgroids in the first place because they didn't grew up on the internet, and artists before the internet are small minority compared to after
i get a surge of motivation and emotion
Tbh yeah it depends on the person doing it

well yeah but what better way to situations to get represented than them being explained by someone who lived it. obviously you can still create with what you havent experienced, but a better adaptation that will always show more emotion and feeling is always gonna be by someone who has lived thru it. thats why old people make such great writers for example, or another great example is the comparison between normal people and noobs who lived in the favela trying to make an adaptation of what a hood is like.

of course it does, but in this site im pretty sure everyone would benefit from doing something like weed atleast once. i think it varies on how smart, logical and reasonable you are, thats why everyone here could absolutely do them. its a website full of people who are actually reasonable and are able to think, obviously some more than others. but it still applies for something such as a small quantity of weed every week. obviously you should do them once you are actually over the age of 18 and where no one prohibits you those things. because in that case or scenario it could bring you more problems than actual happiness

why would you defend normies in this situation though. when my message is directed to people in this site and not a random average 21 year old man without hobbies or interests
im not defending them, im saying your view is flawed because the normgroids we're talking about are not freaks that instantly start doing hard drugs for the sake of it, but they most likely share the exact same believes as you do, of "balanced and safe consumption", obviously the moment they (inevitibely) lose grip on that mindset they turn into normgroid doomed crackheads that are no longer the part of your "mindful drugs users" society, your utopian mindset doesn't work and will never work because there is no way of filtering those people and is just an illusion of perfection

because i obviously have the belief people in this site are actually reasonable and obviously not normies. atleast most of you
