The name is supposed to be self aware and shieet.
He knew the perfect world in his novel couldn't exist, and the name of this land reflected that.

I actually kinda say that because we can't change the timeline and the past actions align with what we have right and what we'll have in the future because better conditions are simply impossible in any iteration just by the design of our nature
