Today some guy in my friend group asked if we wanted to go to a Maroon 5 concert in a few days

I got invited to this Friendsgiving thing this weekend but the person running it is insisting I cook something for it

I bought a copy of Astro Bot and finally got around to playing it. My verdict so far:

Looking at the game I always thought “I mean this doesn’t look horrible, but this is the most devoid of anything game I’ve seen” and I was proven right. Had it not been for how awful the PS5 has been this generation this game would be bargain bin fodder that no one outside of five people would ever remember. It’s just a robot Funko Pop with a bunch of references jumping around easy as fuck platforming challenges in random generic worlds. I’d go as far to say that Astro’s Playroom was a bit more charming because they more explicitly themed the game to PlayStation in general.

Yesterday fucking sucked, one of the phones I bought off eBay to trade in for the T-Mobile 800 dollar trade in credit deal doesn't charge properly (the listing DID say the USB-C was busted, but my thinking was I could just use wireless charging and be good to go) so now I have to buy another phone and wait a few days. Also I forgot to unplug my computer from a docking station I have and broke the cable, and since it's some Dell piece of shit that doesn't have a removable cable the entire dock is toast.

Oh and last week I went with my parents to the dealership to pick up a car we ordered a few months back. It was delayed by a few weeks but I'm glad we finally got it. The manager of the dealership was nice, he gave us a full tour of the entire place. There was this conference room that consisted of car seats modified to be used as office chairs that was pretty neat. As we were going through their garages where they run a detailing service they showed off some cars they were working one, mainly a 2020 Aston Martin DB5 that cost like 3.5M. I also noticed a Dodge Demon 170 there too but unfortunately no one else there gave a fuck about it. As of now the car is in a local shop for getting PPF applied onto it.

The best parts of the game are easily the challenge levels they have scattered in each world. It feels pretty good beating levels that actually have some challenge to it.

Yesterday I got my new iPhone in the mail. Fortunately it was still on iOS 26.1 so I could run this exploit I found out about where you can trick it into thinking it's running iPadOS. Not particularly useful but I guess you can run a few extra apps and have a better experience when hooking it up to a monitor. Still waiting on the case and screen protector I ordered thoughever.

As of now the car is in a local shop for getting PPF applied onto it.

Got the car back from the PPF guys, they did a pretty good job

Finally set up my iPhone after getting my case and screen protector in the mail. I fell for the dBrand meme but they took like 4 days to even confirm shit, so I just said "fuck it" and bought some Spigen thing from Amazon. Good job caca, I'm gonna be returning that shit instantly and doing a charge back. Go fuck yourselves.

Today the local fire station had a guy dressed as Santa Claus driving around the neighborhoods in town to pick up canned food. Unfortunately this year they didn't give me a candy cane which sucks because I got a candy cane from them last year. Oh well, I'm not gonna go asking for it either being 22 and all
