September 28th, 2025: I woke up at 7:00am, absolutely exhausted, but I did get up and get my cereal and coffee before getting dressed up fancy. The same suit jacket as last time with a different button-up. My sister posted on her Instagram story yesterday that this soccer game she went to was tied but she got a free 5 pound bag of potatoes. I walked out at 7:50am and just missed my bus to the church. I checked the next bus and it departs at 8:20am. I just started walking all the way to church then got in at 8:22am. I sat near the front and there was a lot more boomers and parents of kids here. The only person near my age was Naomi and she’s 27 last time I checked. That Colombian priest was presiding for mass instead of the much more pious Father Palmer. The mass was back to being verses populum instead of ad orientem. I’ve never seen the Colombian priest at the Eucharistic adoration they have at the church, which is much more reverent, curious, although he might have come one time when I wasn't there. The readings today were Amos, Psalms, 1 Timothy, and then Luke. The Colombian priest gave a 10 minute homily without begging for money. During the sign of peace I waved to Naomi and she didn’t ignore me somehow. But when I went up for communion, I received it on the tongue from the boomer wearing a semi-formal outfit, luckily for me they were administering communion in both kinds, I went up to receive a sip from the chalice of consecrated wine, watching the minister rotate and wipe the cup after every person, I got a little sip and then went back to my spot. After mass they had a breakfast feast for something I forgot but I prayed a bit and made my way to the back. I saw a cup of something orange and this lady asked me:
“Are you at least 21?”
I replied:
“I’m 22.”
And she gave me the orange mimosa, I drank the cup and it felt like a harsher cup of orange juice. I got half a long john donut and some coffee and went over to talk to Naomi. She appeared glad to see me and I asked about the baby she was carrying. It was actually her friend's, and their second child. I then got out at 9:51am and walked all the way over to the next mass. I got there early and saw Magdalus brought his parents along. I met them and they seemed nice. I volunteered to do the first reading for today, Amos 6:1, 4-7
☛1 “Woe to those who are at ease in Zion, and to those who feel secure on the mountain of Samaria, the notable men of the first of the nations, to whom the house of Israel come!
☛4 “Woe to those who lie upon beds of ivory, and stretch themselves upon their couches, and eat lambs from the flock, and calves from the midst of the stall;
☛5 who sing idle songs to the sound of the harp, and like David invent for themselves instruments of music;
☛6 who drink wine in bowls, and anoint themselves with the finest oils, but are not grieved over the ruin of Joseph!
☛7 Therefore they shall now be the first of those to go into exile, and the revelry of those who stretch themselves shall pass away.”
Kristine, Cronstedt, and Magdalus eventually found another reader for the 1 Timothy reading while Frociaggine was acolyting for mass. I sat in between Mahdi and Reuben. The homily was on Saint Catherine of Sienna drinking a sick woman’s puss as an apology for being disgusted by her disease. We went out for breakfast afterwards and I was anticipating that Asherah and Zephyr would come. I was wrong. Cronstedt tried to serve himself eggs first but the fully metal spoon was left in the slow cooker so it was hot to the touch. I suggested using a napkin to grab the spoon and that worked until someone got a I ended up sitting with Reuben and Frociaggine. They spoke mostly about their jobs at Culvers respectively and how the nearby one has employees that don’t put up with rude customer’s shit. I sat on one of the few chairs left and then on the wooden pole that Reuben was sitting on. I said bye to Oriang at 12:05pm to walk home shortly after Frociaggine left to study for his calculus test this week. I went home after that and spent most of my day gaming on CivMC or vacuuming out in the living room. Earlier today there was an attack on a Latter-day Saints church in Grand Blanc, Michigan. This 40 year old guy named Thomas Jacob Sanford shot and killed 4 people (excluding himself) after the ramming into the Mormon church and started shooting. It doesn’t matter if Mormons aren’t Christian or not because they affirm a form of tritheism instead of the Trinity, the outsiders who hate us hate Mormons because they view them as Christians. James came back briefly to grab some stuff and then left. I just had the last of the rotelle for dinner with grated cheese and olive oil. I got dressed up again at 6:20pm and walked over to church for mass a third time. When I got there I saw Lucas and he told me:
“You’re awfully dressed up!”
And I thanked him, I went in to grab more of the flyers and Lucas talked about low potential attendance because of the Packers game. More people came in like Isaiah in his Knights of Columbus outfit, Lang plus his wife, and also the one guy Terrance was back. He was going around trying to harass people coming in like when I went to confession for the first time ever. Lucas said to him he’s not welcome here but Terrance shouted:
“I’m a Christian."
Lucas replied:
“You’re not even Catholic.”
Lucas got the groundskeeper’s assistant from a different parish to come and talk to him. I ended up finding out his last name was Thomas, he’d been harassing the people of this parish for 7 years, and they were in the process of getting a restraining order against him. I then went in for the start of mass. The priest who was in Germany and the deacon were here and the readings again were Amos, Psalms, 1 Timothy, and Luke. I went and heard the priest give a homily about being a priest for 32 years and a 3rd homily on the parable of the rich man and Lazarus. Things went though as normal and I went out at one point to check for signs of Terrance. Once mass was done I went to the basement for the cafe event and drank an amber lager they had and talked with some others before walking back home. At 8:29pm I saw the Green Bay girl’s Instagram story which read:
<Guys! Look at this borderline perfected loaf I made out of what I thought was going to be a lost cause because I accidentally overproofed the dough. Look at her!
I should have demanded the bread. I did some research on Terrance in the court system and he has a ton of cases against him. He was born December 9th, 1976. I took a shower and then completed my blog before going to sleep.
