The amount of random BS tweaks YouTube does to their app is likely a form of psychological torture, meanwhile their website and app constantly bugs out and barely works properly
Spotify is even worse, I keep all the songs I listen to in like a 1400+ song playlist and now it can't even shuffle through it properly, the only reason I haven't ditched it for something else is because I'm a lazy dummy

He's kind of right doe, 90 percent of these features are useless and you can just do them through ChatGPT/Claude/Grok/etc.
I know why they're there, "le AI" boosts stock prices but it's still annoying bloat
I wouldn't mind much of this if it was actually shit done on device, but almost always these features are just wrappers for LLM models you can already use
