You know i thought this would be alot more interesting like i was gonna sink my teeth into some funny lolcow lore so i was surprised at how little i cared about most things throughout the video. Just going into one ear and out the other.

Like this video even contradicts itself but I'm just gonna talk about this shortly
At first he says that its "art" and it shouldn't be censored.

this argument in shorts says that lolicon is affiliated with peodphilia and can't enable ppeodphilics thoughts on one because its fiction and you can't draw an exact line at what is porn and obscene so trying to ban loli would lead the much worse censorship.

This argument contradicts with the definition given in the 1:40 mark about what is lolicon.

I think at the 7 minute mark he starts talking about how lolicon art can be used to rehabilitate people with pedophilic thoughts think of it like how they give nicotine products to smokers so they can quit it slowly.

So this contradicts with the first argument he made where now he says that lolicon is indeed affiliated with pedophilic thoughts.
And you know why it is bad to use enabler products why trying to stop a addiction this is already too long.

Video essays are glorified opinion pieces. These people don't have to do research into the topic they want to have an in-depth discussion about because then that would take actual effort and brain power. No, they just have to ramble into a microphone for two hours and act like they know what they're talking about. They are pompous, pretentious, and performative videos made by midwits who want to convince you how educated they are without having anything to show for it. And if it's about a political or social topic, they always have an ulterior motive that suits their cause.

Another problem is that everybody is on the internet now, and there are so few genuinely intelligent people, so all of these dummys copy each other's format without bringing anything new to the table. Same video titles, same thumbnails, same exact talking points. It's exhausting. JSID.
