Very interesting. For a brief moment I felt as if it held Christian values indirectly but that immediately shattered with the opinions regarding marriage, the independence of children despite parents and the separation of the church from the state. It’s a valiant effort, but I just could not see any civilised society becoming truly Communist. Perhaps a few of the ideals may slide in but definitely not the whole thing. But the country and city becoming intertwined? Yeah right hahahaha. I wholeheartedly agree with educating all, removing certain private properties, in my case land, public transport being free and owned by the community, abolishing old abandoned housing and taxing the rich higher. I can see the point of laziness and the lack of individual reward being a major cause of issue. Humans seek equal reward to our work, this has been observed in apes, this stands in the face of that in the short-term, which most barely think beyond. I’ve only finished reading so I’ll let it simmer in my mind, once again, very interesting.
