advanced medical proceedures you doN't even have to think I don't want to die from a simple feverLive in the stone age but with advanced medical proceedures and all other technology is primitive or live in a place with the most advanced technology but primitive medical knowledge?
Why do you think the life expectancy raised by a huge margin these last 100 years?>Would you rather live in a shithole where you can get vaxxxed or in a utopia without being a victim of the conspiracy that is modern medicine?
Hard choice.
New farming methods. People who would in the past have starved to death now have enough to eat.Why do you think the life expectancy raised by a huge margin these last 100 years?
That actually sounds kind of aryan actuallysci-fi cyberpunk dystopia where people are dieing like it's the medieval slums
Honestly there are a lot of "huge" medical advancement that are literally just "hey we should wash our hands between caring for sick people and delivering babies," "if we just stick this noob in a box then he can't get anyone else sick," and "hey let's boil the water we got from that muddy puddle that smells like shit before we drink it"The second one so I can become the best doctor. Plus I doubt you can put your advanced medical procedures in practice in the stone age when there's no MRIs or basic medical shit
True but the moment you get an infection and can't fight it you're shit outta luck. Washing your hands is also very difficult as there's no plumbing or soap. You also can't use masks as they don't exist yet or sterilize a room and can't test people because there's zero equipmentHonestly there are a lot of "huge" medical advancement that are literally just "hey we should wash our hands between caring for sick people and delivering babies," "if we just stick this noob in a box then he can't get anyone else sick," and "hey let's boil the water we got from that muddy puddle that smells like shit before we drink it"
It would still be rough, but it would be better than you'd think.
Plus between you having a more active/fulfilling life and everyone else dying at 40, you probably wouldn't even mind that you shit yourself to death at 25
soap is easy to makeTrue but the moment you get an infection and can't fight it you're shit outta luck. Washing your hands is also very difficult as there's no plumbing or soap. You also can't use masks as they don't exist yet or sterilize a room and can't test people because there's zero equipment
At least in the future there's resources. It just takes one person to realize how things work in order to rediscover medical knowledge
But i like the idea of thriving primally in a virgin untouched world with no concern of the risks of diseasethe former is just rimworld, the latter will soon discover the former medical technologies. so the second option.
That's only because we know how to make it. If it's the stone age then there's no soapsoap is easy to make![]()
sigh...That's only because we know how to make it. If it's the stone age then there's no soap
If you can find a bank of clean sand or better yet ash from a fire you use that to scrub off grime and rinse it off and you'll be relatively cleanThat's only because we know how to make it. If it's the stone age then there's no soap
yes but consider the followingBut i like the idea of thriving primally in a virgin untouched world with no concern of the risks of disease
