Some loose critiques because I'm a leaking noob. He has little eye for the natural "swing" of things, which makes poses appear stiff. The line thickness and the feasibility of something if rotated in your mind varies too much to click with my eyes. The hair is uneven in 3D, it's lobbed to another angle to the head, it awkwardly lobs over the arm in greasy clumps. The shading is just shit being thrown at the wall. The top of the eyes don't follow the shape of the head - although I might be seeing things - and the ears make no sense at all if you imagine the head without hair. The snout feels too tight to the face but those vary anyway depending on the artist so I can't really put him down for it. The tufts in the ears also begin at different points and directions which just doesn't look nice to my eye. For some reason the paint has a visible consistency that fluctuates between slime and water. All in all, just a lot of symmetry errors and nit-picky bollocks on my end.
To praise now. The idea is really quaint, the colors are very pretty - albeit the hair might drag too much attention away from the rest of the picture (too saturated) - the font is sleek and I adore the effort to teach people all this regardless. If he just sat down for another hour hammering in consistency and working out the kinks, it'd be glistening.
