Evolution occurs but there is heavy debate within the scientific community on the scale that it actually happens at. We know animals are evolving in certain environments to better adapt to them, but to think your ancestors were gibbons swinging from tree to tree while we still have gibbons walking the earth right now is silly.

This isn't a debate, macroevolution is overwhelmingly accepted by the scientific community. That's not to say it's valid, but it is the consensus. What you're describing is the conflict between evolutionists and Creationists.

Why must they take everything from us? The rainbow is a sign for all creatures great and small that God’s promise of not flooding Earth again is still fulfilled. This goes for both sides, some kids are taught that all rainbows are associated with cacaotry, when it simply isn’t the case.
