most furcaca creatures are not cute but straight up disgusting
Most furry characters are some sort of mammal that can be drawn easily in a cute artstyle or at least appealing to the eye.

What I’m mainly thinking is, is there some sort of way to make a furry OC that’s a giraffe or some other animal that’s pretty hard to make “cute” and actually make it appealing to the eye?

A cockroach, giraffe, I would say kangaroos are all pretty unappealing. Is there any way?

kangaroos dont look that bad you cant compare that to a cockroach man

a cockroach isnt even a furry
If I'm not mistaken Samuel Conway, one of the largest public-speakers for conventions since the mid 90s, has some ugly little cockroach thing as his self-insert. It's not an unheard of animal to use. What do bugs even fall under anyways?
